Title of the Story: The Elves and the Shoemaker

Extension Project : A Story Hat

Directions: Make a "newspaper hat" out of a piece of white manila card. At the
top of the hat's front side, write the name of your book and the author. Divide the
front brim into three sections. In the first section draw something that happened
at the beginning of the book. In the middle section, draw something that
happened in the middle of the book. In the last section, draw what happened
after the problem of the story was solved.. Then divide the brim on the back of
your hat into three sections to draw the main characters of the story. In the first
section, draw the shoemaker. In the second section, draw the shoemaker’s wife.
In the last section, draw the elves.
