Hello. We'd like to introduce you to Carrie Mac. Carrie Mac is a 23 year old singer/songwriter hailing from Edinburgh, who instantly charms with her music and her smile. Her self-penned debut single 'Hello' is released on Proto Records on 31 August. This brilliant slice contemporary pop was co-written by John McLaughlin and Dave Thomas. I loved working with John and Dave. They let me do what I believe in, to express myself. Hello is about a relationship that's going badly it's about remembering when it was really good. Do you remember when we said hello? It's about not giving up, wanting it to be great again. I still want to be with you so please don't let us give up. "I've always wanted to sing. To me it was my way of expressing myself, when I sing I feel fearless. She loves lyrics and melody. Songs like 'Go Your Own Way' by Fleetwood Mac and 'Last Goodbye' by Jeff Buckley are memorable 'cos they make you feel. Songs should evoke an emotion within you, whether its sadness or joy. That makes a song a classic. Do you remember when we said Hello?
