The sample test papers are only for reference and guidance. The sample papers being given in the booklet are actually the papers of
previous year's Selection Test conducted by Resonance for its various courses. The answer key to all the papers is given on the last
page of the booklet.
Note : Resonance reserves the right to change the pattern of selection test (ResoNET). Pervious year papers do not guarantee that the
papers for this year selection test will be on the same pattern. However, the syllabus of the test paper will be equivalent to the syllabus
of qualifying school/board examination.
For More Practice of RESONANCE Selection Test (ResoNET)
Resonance selection test papers of last five years (2003-07) are available on demand. Following sets of Practice Test Papers are available
with us :
(i) Set-A : 10 Papers Set for Class-X appearing/passed students (Course : VIKAAS (A) & VIPUL (B))
(ii) Set-B : 10 Papers Set for Class-XI/XII appearing/passed students (Course : VISHWAAS (F))
(iii) Set-C : 10 Papers Set for Class-XII passed students (Course : VISHESH (D) & VIJAY (R))
Interested students may collect the same from institute's Main Office (at J-2 Reception) by paying an additional fees of Rs.200/- only. Any
of the above Papers Sets may be procured through post by sending a DD of Rs 200/- in favour of 'Resonance' and payable at Kota.
A student may send the request application on plain paper along with prerequisite fees to the institute to collect any of the sets of Practice

Matrix - Match Type (=|c=== +r)
This section contains 1 question. Each question contains statements given in two columns which have to
be matched. Statements (A, B, C, D) in Column-I have to be matched with statements (p, q, r, s) in
Column-II. The answers to these questions have to be appropriately bubbled as illustrated in the following
example.
If the correct matches are A-p , A-r , B-p , B-s , C-r , C-s and D-q, then the
correctly will look like in bubbled matrix. One option in ColumnI may
have one or more than one correct options in ColumnII. Marks will be
awarded only if an option in ColumnI is matched with all correct options in
Column-II. Each correct matching will be awarded 1 mark and if all the

50. Water is filled in four glasses A, B,C and D to height H.The initial temperatures for all four glasses is given
in figures labelled glass A1, glass B1, glass C1 and glass D1 . Then water is interchanged between glass
A and glass B ; also water is interchanged between glass C and glass D as shown in steps below. First
Determine the temperature at each stage of mixing and then with the help of these temperature, match the
glass in vertical column of the matrix with the corresponding glasses in the horizontal row of the matrix
which have same temperature. The answers to the given question have to be appropriately bubbled in ORS
as illustrated in the matrix above. (Assume that the heat loss or gain to the surrounding is negligible and
also the heat capacity of the glasses is negligible.)

SECTION - III (=r=- III)

Matrix - Match Type (=|c=== +r)
This section contains 1 question. Each question contains statements given in two columns which have to
be matched. Statements (A, B, C, D) in Column-I have to be matched with statements (p, q, r, s) in
Column-II. The answers to these questions have to be appropriately bubbled as illustrated in the following
example.
If the correct matches are A-p , A-r , B-p , B-s , C-r , C-s and D-
q, then the correctly will look like in bubbled matrix. One option in
ColumnI may have one or more than one correct options in
ColumnII. Marks will be awarded only if an option in ColumnI is
matched with all correct options in Column-II. Each correct matching
will be awarded 1 mark and if all the matchings are correct then 6
marks will be awarded.
