Differentiator

Definition

• Differentiator is the circuit which performs the


mathematical operation of differentiation

• The output waveform is the derivative of the input


waveform

Construction

The differentiator can be constructed using OP-Amp by


replacing an input resistor Ri with capacitor in a basic
inverting amplifier
