ERGONOMCS
Derived from two Greek words:
"Nomoi meaning natural laws
"Ergon meaning work
Ergonomics is a science and practice of designing jobs and
workplaces to match the capabilities and limitations of
human body
Ergonomics means " fitting the job to the worker

Ergonomics include BOMECHANCS


BOMECHANCS
The science of measuring the amount of force put on the
muscles and joints of people when working in different
positions.

ERGONOMC STUDY AREAS


WORKERS - what they bring to the job
TOOLS - what they bring to the worker
TASKS - what the worker must do
ENVRONMENT- the conditions
surrounding the worker and the tool

compensation each year
