committee meetings schedule to be held on Tuesday March 6, 2012 in the City Council Chambers. All Council committee meetings shall begin at 4:00 p.m. unless otherwise designated. Public Safety, Works and Transportation Committee at 4:00 p.m. 1.To hear a report from the Administration on the SPARC project at Bolton and Elliott Street. 2.To hear a report from the Administration concerning the status of MPAT Park completion date, hours of operation, and signage requested by the Neighborhood Association. Finance and Legal Affairs Committee at 4:30 p.m. or immediately following 3.To consider final adoption of an ordinance to accept the recommendation of the City Attorney to authorize the City Attorney to enter into a compromise and settlement and to appropriate funds out of the Risk Management Fund of the City to be used for payment of a certain sum towards the compromise and settlement of the claim against the City to be used to pay towards the settlement in the suit entitled Joseph Henry versus City of Alexandria and Elnora Howard, Civil Suit Number 234,216 on the docket of the Ninth

Judicial District Court; and to provide for related matters. 4.To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Service Agreement with Misty Antoon, Esquire to provide legal services. 5.To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Service Agreement with the law firm of Roedel, Parsons, Koch, Blache, Balhoff & McCollister to provide legal services. Please have your staff note the change in format for the committee meetings done in compliance with R. S. 42.7. The Council has directed that the City Clerk may advise the public scheduling regarding committee meetings. It is always that the intention of the council to convene committee meetings at the conclusion of the prior committee meeting unless the chairman of the meeting may indicate otherwise for the convenience of the public.
