Virtual AIS Buoyage Virtual AIS buoys are established in areas where navigation is difficult or in areas where there is a raised risk of collision. Mariners should take into account the existence of these modern aids to navigation in certain parts of the Baltic Sea. The chart presentation of virtual AIS buoyage is not sufficiently developed for both paper charts and electronic equipment.
