Warehouse Management NVQ Apprentice

A vacancy has arisen in our Transport Department for a Warehouse Apprentice. We will provide training and development support, along with time away from the workplace each week to complete an NVQ portfolio.
The main duties will include: To learn all aspects of Warehouse Management including all systems we use i.e. Xnet, Sage and Routes. Staff allocation Attending production meetings Holiday control Involvement in performance reviews and employee meetings Warehouse project work Lean manufacturing Health and safety management Kaizen Progress chasing The ideal candidate must be: Committed in completion of the apprenticeship programme Numerate and literate must have grade C or above in both Maths and English GSCE or equivalent Self confident, reliable and trustworthy Hours of work: 40 per week, 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs 8am-2pm Fri.
