As the recent Spatial Vision report shows, there is a clear under-supply of secondary school places in Coburg and the surrounding area. It was wonderful to read in the Moreland Reader this week that you are “looking at a long-term solution for the Coburg area.” | encourage you to look beyond simply expanding already over- stretched schools that are nearby. Demountable classrooms often start as temporary but become. permanent as time progresses. This is not a solution for the ongoing baby boom that is happening in the Northern Suburbs. The Coburg Senior High School site is already available and could provide the much wanted school our suburb deserves. | believe other solutions are short sighted and not in the best interest of future generations.
