BULLETIN # 3 SUBJECT: FEBRUARY 6, 2012

CITYWIDE AUXILIARY POLICE UNIFORM DETAIL FOR THE ROCKAWAY ST. PATRICKS DAY PARADE, MARCH 3, 2012 - QUEENS

1. The Patrol Borough Queens South Auxiliary Police Supervisor has requested that the Auxiliary Police assist in the annual Rockaway- Belle Harbor St. Patricks Day Parade Detail in the confines of the 100th Precinct on Saturday, March 3rd, 2012. This annual event attracts large crowds and requires numerous traffic control posts. 2. Members who wish to participate will report to the Auxiliary Staging Area on Beach 95th Street, between Rockaway Beach Boulevard and Shore Front Parkway (in front of the 100th Precinct Station House). Auxiliary Officers will primarily be assigned to traffic, high visibility, and mobile high visibility posts along the parade route. Auxiliary Highway Units and Auxiliary Citywide Traffic Task Force are requested to assist with anticipated vehicular traffic congestion. 3. as follows: Members who wish to participate will report to Sgt. Schroeder, PBQS Auxiliary Supervisor DATE: REPORT TIME: Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 1100 hours (will conclude at approx. 1530 hours)

FORMATION AREA: Front of 100th Pct: Beach 95th St @ Rockaway Beach Blvd UNIFORM: Uniform of Day, Tactical Response Hood, Traffic Vest

4. Members participating must wear the uniform of the day including tactical response hood. Traffic vests will be available for use. Uniform inspections will be conducted prior to assignment. 5. Auxiliary Police Coordinators and Auxiliary Police Commanding Officers will apprise members of their units of the contents of this bulletin and encourage active participation. Note: Units that arrive after the detail is posted should report to the 100th Precinct Desk Officer for instructions and assignment.
