SY 2012-13 Section: BFA 2 A/B Room: CAFA 110 SYLLABUS DRAWING FROM LIFE COURSE DESCRIPTION: Experimenting with the figure by manipulating proportions, exploring lines and area selectively to achieve mood, gestures and attitudes related to human reactions, movements situations and characters. Media in black and white to full color. Co-requisite for Painting from Life. FINE ARTS OBJECTIVE : The Fine Arts program is focused on the advancement of yhe ability to use traditional and current technologies to create effective advertising, publishing, editorial, corporate information, website and multi-media design. The student is educated to become visual specialists who gives form to ideas and information. Equal emphasis is given to concept development and problem- solving skills that may be applicable to professional pursuits. COURSE OBJECTIVES -Learn to locate forms spatially within the frame of vision. -Explore methods of developing ideas in figure drawing. -Allow the students to practice and play and let nonsense take own direction. -Find to speak the uniqueness of each person in his / her drawing. -Remind students to et go to experiment.
