CAMPAIGN TATAK BOTANTE (Voters Registration & Education Campaign for the 2013 Midterm Election) EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Iskolar ng Bayans thirst for reform and change in the government has been igniting throughout the years. Various campaigns have been forwarded to struggle for the attainment of what is just and right, particularly with regard to basic social services. Triumphs in all our campaigns will only be achieved if our general call will be adequately heard and understood by our public officials, especially in proper timing. In this light, as we move closer to the 2013 Midterm Elections, the University Student Council, through the USC Education and Research Committee, will ensure that our campaigns will be intensified by urging our fellow Iskolar ng Bayan to be registered in the upcoming 2013 Midterm Election, while simultaneously demanding candidates to exemplify and be responsive to our call and demands. Our firm participation in the national elections, as voters, could bring about significant impact, especially when we manifest in solidarity that each of our vote is a demand for reform and change. In collaboration with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), NCPAG Student Government, UP Advertising Core, and ABS-CBNs Bayan Mo, Ipatrol Mo!, together with the support of various youth institutions and organizations, TATAK BOTANTE will be launched on 05 September 2012, where voters registration satellite booths at the Palma Hall will be made available. This endeavour will not stop in providing only an avenue for the votersregistration; rather voters education shall also be promoted through a series of convocation with 2013 Midterm Election candidates entitled ANG PAGSUSURI. Furthermore, the DARe (Disclose All Records) Movement shall also conduct series of
