SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES is a non-profit organization that offers parent-to-parent support to families who have children with disabilities, and information and educational services to families and the professionals who work with them. Support for Families is the fiscal agent for HRIIC. The High Risk Infant Interagency Council of San Francisco (HRIIC) is a citywide parent/professional council concerned with infants and young children (ages birth through 5) with special health care needs and their families.

Job Announcement
Position: HRIIC Director Hours: Full Time Salary: DOE Position Available: July Job Location: 1663 Mission Street Position Description: The Director oversees and manages the implementation of HRIIC activities, programs, and projects and facilitates HRIIC General Council and Steering Committee meetings to provide a forum for planning, policy development, and interagency coordination of services. The Director facilitates meetings, implements trainings, represents HRIIC in the community, and provides a forum for program development. Duties are programmatic and administrative and include reporting and documentation for funders, coordination and facilitation of meetings, (including strategic planning), planning and implementation of trainings, program and fund development, and supervision of staff. Qualifications: The Director needs to be a clear thinker, very energetic, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Required education: masters degree in Human Services Area, minimum three years experience and minimum one year experience specifically in the disability field. Required knowledge: strategic planning, meeting facilitation, training planning and implementation, supervision, and managing logistics, experience with children with disabilities and their families and family-centered care. Required skills: Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) as well as proven organizational skills; demonstrated ability and experience working with staff and clients of varying cultures and backgrounds.
