1.1

COMPANY PROFILE

Incorporated in 1973, Radnik Exports is one of the Indias leading garment export houses today. Spearheaded by 60 lead managers employing 4000 people with a turnover of US $17 million, Radnik Exports customers include reputed retail stores in US, UK, Sweden, Holland, Canada and Australia. Radnik Exports manufactures high fashion ladies apparel, ranging from casual outfits to formal evening wear. Recently they have expanded their range to include mens wear and childrens clothing as well. In the last 30 years they have handled virtually every style and fabric, so when we talk to them, what we are really getting is the benefit of decades of dealing with the worlds most demanding customers.

1.3 INFRASTRUCTURAL SUPPORT


When the buyer works with Radnik Exports, they dont just get a team of professionals on their side. Supporting their deliveries are six production factories, covering a total area of 250,000 sq. feet with a capacity to handle 500,000 garments per month. State of the art machinery is used across all functions, which includes over 2000 stitching machines in India and Nepal. In addition other specialized garment manufacturing machines are used extensively throughout their production centres. Furthermore, advanced washing and finishing processes are implemented across all orders. Their on-line office helps their buyers to be in touch with them through e-mail, telephone or fax-24 x 7.

1.4 FABRIC SOURCING


Their finest cottons come from the south, while synthetics and rayons in all its forms are best sourced from the western regions of India. Radnik Exports has developed long standing relationships with suppliers in India and abroad to ensure a steady and efficient supply. In order to better monitor supply and quality, they have established their own offices at these fabric centers. Moreover, they work only with the most quality conscious printing and dyeing mills in the country. These fabrics meet all the specified norms before being approved for production.

1.5 SAMPLING
Their showroom displays the latest designs and fabrics developed each season, specifically for us by Indian, European and American designers. They invite their buyers to place sampling orders from their own designs or choose from the range that they have to offer.

If the buyer is looking for something specific, their sampling team is glad to develop new fabrics and styles on their request.

1.6 PRE-PRODUCTION
This department focuses on coordinating with the buyers, to arrive at approvals on styling, workmanship, fit details, accessories etc. to minimize errors and deviations before mass production. Also they have their Ad sample delivered in time for all the important showings. Critical to pre-production processes is their Industrial Engineering department which aims at improving the efficiency and output level. The department is equipped with CAD/ CAM systems powered by Lectra, including internet tools for providing optimal data communication capabilities.

1.7 PRODUCTION
As their core competency, they are most concerned with this departments functioning. They have production working on assembly line with statistical process control methods across all functions to ensure maximum quality and output. Further to focus more closely on the processes, they have empowered a battery of quality controllers who constantly monitor production using AQL standards. These controllers themselves are supervised by technically trained Quality Assurance tam leaders.

1.8 FINISHING AND DESPATCH


To ensure that the final packed garment is perfect in all respects, they have their own washing, perc and dry-cleaning facilities.

Water softening plants for steam pressing and rapid drying processes give the garment that crisp finish. They go to great lengths to ensure that the final presentation of the garment is just right. With over three decades of experience in dealing with just about every major buyer and concerned logistical agencies, their shipping department can deliver a crucial edge in expediting formalities to ensure timely delivery.
