FULL-TIME TEMPORARY PARKS MAINTENANCE AIDE REGIONAL ATHLETIC COMPLEX - RAC PUBLIC WORKS OPERATIONS DIVISION
SALARY: FIRST YEAR EMPLOYEE - $12.24 PER HOUR, RETURNING EMPLOYEE - $13.31 PER HOUR STATUS: FULL-TIME, SIX MONTH TEMPORARY POSITION CLOSING DATE: OPEN UNTIL FILLED

Under immediate or general supervision, individual learns to perform a variety of maintenance duties in parks and facilities. Use lawn mowers and hand tools. Position will work a flexible 40 hour work week that includes evenings and weekends. This position is temporary.

QUALIFICATIONS:
All applicants will have demonstrated the ability to adhere to work rules and guidelines; demonstrated basic mechanical aptitude; park maintenance experience preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older; have a high school diploma or G.E.D. All applicants must have a valid Washington State driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the City's insurance carrier. Must pass a background investigation. Must maintain a level of physical and mental fitness necessary to perform the essential functions of the position. Verification of identity and United States work authorization must be completed as required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act.
