The World Is Lost

Some have difficulty accepting that good people deserve to be eternally lost. How could a just God send someone to Hell who saved thousands of lives?

No one can be good enough to earn Heaven. It cant be earned.
Imagine God sending Jesus to die to save people who could have saved themselves.

All sin MUST be punished.

For the wages of sin is death Rom. 6:23 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Col. 1:13,14

Seek To Approach God In My Own Way

 Some make excuses. Others will say, I just obey the 10 commandments. The opinions of man have no value; only those of the sovereign God have sway.

Being faithless, they do not realize their peril. No guarantee of tomorrow (only a vapor)

Many go through the forms of obeying the gospel and then just go their way. To become a Christian is to become a servant of God.
But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed, 18 and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. Romans 6:17,18

Respond But Not Serve

Slaves or servants DO things, not just believe things!
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. James 1:22-24

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Today, more and more people are rejecting the very idea of God. Science has become a religion. They accept as fact theories that cannot be proven by the scientific method.
Evolution ... Accepted by faith Big Bang ... Accepted by faith

They will not accept God because He cannot be observed, but accept these by faith.

Universal acceptance or rejection neither proves nor disproves. GOD IS!
The world universally accepted that the earth was flat. It was formerly believed that sickness could be cured by draining polluted blood. We were told we were going into an ice age, now were going to bake.

Conclusion

To Be Lost, One Must Only

Follow the crowd and lead a satisfying life. Just do ones best to be a good person. Seek to approach God in ones own way. Believe the gospel, but delay obeying it. Accept the gospel, but fail to surrender and serve God. Reject God.

To Be Saved, One Must Only

Acknowledge his lost condition and seek reconciliation with God. Believe that God is and that He rules sovereignly over His creation. Put his trust in Jesus the risen Christ and His sacrifice for mans sins. Commit his life to serving God & living a holy life. Be strong enough to cause him to confess Christ before others. Be baptized for the remission of sins. Lead a faithful life.
