In 1956, The Church of Light published its findings in s series of research studies conducted between 1924 and 1955. Edited by Doris Chase Doane, Astrology: Thirty Years Research outlined the methods used to determine the most active planets and houses in each category; thousands of timed births and events were collected, then analyzed according to the Church of Light's Hermetic system of chart measurement, then called stellar dynamics and now referred to as astrodynes or cosmodynes. The report listed planets and houses with percentages indicating the fraction of each sampling (100 for each of the professions tested) were born with the planet "prominent" or the house "active". Astrology: Thirty Years Research was itself a condensed report, making the excerpts here an even more abbreviated listing. Here only those planets and houses prominent in 90% or more of the category's in horoscopes appear: Movie actor: Mars, Uranus, fifth house, first house Aviator: Neptune, Mars, Uranus, ninth house, third house Instrumental musician: Neptune, fifth house Vocal musician: Moon or Neptune, Mars Composer of music: Uranus and/or Neptune Musical conductor: Uranus, Mars Doctor: Mars, Jupiter, sixth house, twelfth house Writer: Mercury, Mercury aspecting Sun or Moon, third house, ninth house Teacher: ninth house, fifth house Lawyer: Mercury or Uranus, Saturn, ninth house Politician: Sun, Pluto Uranus, tenth house Policeman: Saturn, Mars, Pluto, Neptune, twelfth house Salesman: Jupiter or Uranus Astrologer: Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Mercury Draftsman: Mercury, Neptune, Venus, Mars, third house Engineer: Uranus, Mars, Saturn , Famer: Saturn, Pluto, Moon, fourth house Nurse: Moon, Mars, Pluto, sixth house, twelfth house Machinist: Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Mercury Cosmetician: Neptune or Pluto, Mars, Venus Waiter: Mars, Moon, Neptune, Pluto, Mercury, sixth house Telephone operator: Mercury, Uranus, Pluto, Moon, third house Bookkeeper: Saturn, Mercury, Mars, third house, eighth house Stenographer: Mercury or Uranus, Uranus aspecting Sun, Moon or Mercury, third house Artist: Venus, Mars, Neptune, Mercury, Venus aspecting Moon or Mercury, Mars aspecting Moon or Mercury Store clerk: Saturn, Pluto, Jupiter, Moon, Mercury, first house, seventh house Electrician: Uranus, Pluto, Mercury, Mars , Athlete: Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, Mercury, first house, fifth house Radio Technician: Pluto, Uranus, Mars, Mercury, Moon, ninth house Architect: Saturn, Mercury, Neptune, Mars, Venus, Uranus, third house, fourth house Dancer: Venus, Moon, Neptune, Mars, Mercury, first house Chemist: Pluto, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, Mars, Mercury, sixth house Dentist: Jupiter, Mercury, Saturn, Mars, Venus, sixth house
