INFORMATION WEEKLY ISSUE 145

For week ending Friday 5th October 2012

Following on from the success of my original book, Cripin Place, a

large print version is now available. A powerfully moving

but good humoured autobiographical book about living with a debilitating disease, the book is universal in its appeal to anybody dependent on support. Renamed with the original books by-line and sporting a fresh new cover, I hope to appeal to a different market and also reach overseas readers with online sales. Copies of the original book are still available by contacting David on 09 426 3887. Simply click on the link below to view the book, there is no obligation to buy, and please share with friends and associates. Printed on demand at time of order, expect delivery within three weeks.

Hi all, FYI and distribution: As you may be aware, Auckland Transport is working towards the introduction of an integrated smartcard that can be used on all of Auckland's public transport. Starting next month we are conducting a closed pilot with a select group of people to find out about their experiences using the new smartcard. The data collected and lessons learned from the pilot will be used to help assist the rollout of the new smartcard. We were wondering if any of your members who travel by train would be interested in participating in this trial? Here's some additional information to share with your members: What's in it for me? Weekly Prize Draw of $100 worth of supermarket vouchers Free Smartcard worth $10 loaded with $50 credit Up to 10% discount off a single cash fare Helping make a difference to integrated ticketing in Auckland When does the pilot run? Monday 8th October 2012 to Sunday 4th November 2012 What do I have to do? A key aspect of the pilot is the provision of regular feedback to help Auckland Transport understand your experiences using the smartcard, to let them know what you think of the new system, and to help them understand any issues or problems with the smartcard. Your feedback is important and will ensure that, when Auckland Transport roll out the full AT HOP system, they are fully meeting customer needs. Feedback can be provided by phone or by filling an online feedback form. As part of the pilot you will need to complete one initial online survey asking you about your trip and your experiences using the smartcard for the first time. This will be followed by weekly online surveys (taking no more than 1-3 minutes to complete) for any updates on how you are finding using the card - this may just be to say everything is going fine! Each time your provide feedback you will receive one entry into the weekly prize draw for $100 worth of supermarket vouchers. However you are able to opt out of the trial at any time. We only have limited space so if any of your members are interested in participating please could you send me their details and I can send them the invitation email to register. Once they have registered they will receive their free smartcard and information pack in the mail. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I hope to hear from you soon.
