(St.

Augustine Church, Barberton, OH) (November 4, 2012) Thirty-First Sunday in Ordinary Time Want to have a successful Year of Faith? Follow Jesus teaching to 1) Love God with your whole heart, soul, mind and strength and 2) love your neighbor as yourself. Where to start? Charity begins at home. Make love of God and each other family priorities and you will be amazed at the harmony and growth that happens.
Living Faith in November: I love you, Lord my strength (Ps.18) Can you recall an experience where you found strength in the Lord? How did this experience impact your faith? How are you called to love the Lord today? Believers, so St. Augustine tells us, strengthen themselves by believing. (PF 7) 311 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. Let us all rejoice that we believe that Jesus is truly present in the consecrated host. Give us the faith of St. Peter to proclaim, "You are Christ, the son of the Living God." Give us the faith of St. Thomas to cry out, "My Lord and my God." Dear Lord, increase our faith. Amen. As we begin 50 Years

of Perpetual Adoration here at St. Augustine, please consider making a Holy Hour, give it a try,

Children's Grief Awareness Day- November 15 - Catholic Cemeteries invite you and your family to visit your local Catholic Cemetery on November 15th for a day of remembrance and reflection. Children's Grief Awareness Day reminds us that grieving children are not alone. This time of year can be particularly difficult after the death of a loved one. Children's Grief Awareness Day seeks to bring attention to the fact that often support can make all the difference in the life of a grieving child. Your Catholic Cemeteries are places of hope, faith and remembrance. We are here to serve the children in the Diocese of Cleveland as they cope with the loss of a parent, grandparent, sibling, aunt, uncle, cousin or friend. This day provides an opportunity for all of us to raise awareness of the painful impact that the death of a loved one has in the life of a child. Help us make sure that these children receive the support they need. We welcome you to stop in the office at your Catholic Cemetery on November 15th to pick up a special gift to give to a grieving child in your life. Please visit the web for more information www.clevelandcatholiccemeteries.org or contact Nancy Romaine at nromaine@clevelandcatholiccemetereis.org.
