Project #4 Digitally Composed (creating a professional site) For your last project, you will develop a professional site for yourself using software of your choice. This is an opportunity for you to survey the web presence of young professionals in your particular area of interest and create your own site. Ill provide instructions in class on how to use Dreamweaver. I am also available for individual instruction as needed. The assignment will have four components: 1) 2) 3) 4) An informal proposal and conference (10%) A complete draft and brief statement of possibilities for revision (20%) A final draft (50%) A statement (approximately 1000 words) of your goals and choices (20%)

Your assessment on this project will be based on the timely completion of each of the four components. Your informal proposal needs to include a sample of what youd like to achieve using the technology available (look for a sample from a young professional like yourself). Identify the components of your site. (You must have four pages.) What can you include? A bio, photos, sample work, etc. You should also describe what sort of impression youd like to leave with readers/viewers of your site. Your site must have at least 900 words of carefully edited text. This could be in the form of a bio, section introduction, or a piece of writing. Your complete draft should be complete. You should use only those images in which you have permission to use. You should include appropriate credits. To earn a C-level grade, you need to have a working site by the due date. You must have a minimum of four pages. You must have at least 900 words of text. Your final draft should incorporate the revision suggestions given. Your 1000-word statement of goals and choices, explaining your process, the research you conducted, and your own evaluation of the site.
