Efficacy testing and probable mode of action proposed for Ayurvedic drugs : Abrhak bhasama ,Mandur Bhasma,kantaloha,bhasma,Plumbago zeylanica and many other herbs . Projects implemented :Bioassay Development for Abhrak Bhasma (DST) Awards and Fellowships : Institute Of Indian Medicine, Pune in January 1995, awarded Post Doctoral Fellowship Of Institute Of Indian Medicine [PDFIIM]. The thesis entitled Effect of Plumbago zeylanica root powder On ovarian growth, Implantation and pregnancy in albino rats has been awarded SILVER MEDAL in Best thesis competition arranged by Institute Of Indian Medicine, Pune At National level. Late S. H. Lakshmeswar Award of Excellence for the Best Research in Ayurved has been awarded by Ayurved Academy, Pune on February 11, 1986. Oriental Ayurveda Health Pvt. Ltd. Gold Medal (2007). for Best Thesis award, 2007 entitled Abhrak Bhasma mediated alterations in lysosomal enzyme activities of Liver and Kidney in Male Albino Rats against CCl4 induced hepatic injury.
