Teacher and students Activities Pupils read the sentences given. Teacher brings pupils attention to the words in bold-jogs, run , plods and trudge 1. Teacher writes the words on the board. 2. Teacher writes the word walk on the board and discuss it with the pupils. 5. Pupils refer to the dictionary and give the meaning of the word. 6. Teacher talks about the pictures - Have you seen these animals /people before? - Where have you seen them? Let pupils describe the way the people and animals move in each picture. Teacher explains the task to pupils. Pupils choose the word that fits the picture. - Example : kangaroos hop Pupils work in pairs and find the answers. Pupils then make sentences to describe the pictures.
