PRAYER AND PRAISE

Please continue to pray for Judy Miller as she recovers from her open-heart surgery. The doctors are pleased with her progress, but she has a long way to go before being pain free - let alone cleared to run a marathon! Please pray that the Lord would raise up people from WHAC to bless, and welcome, and reach out to the families who will be involved with the church Kindy. Please pray for John and Nicolette, in addition to all of their extended family, as they welcome their new baby into their home and their hearts. Please continue to pray for the McGowans. May the Lord keep His hand upon David especially as he struggles with his many challenges. Please pray that the Lord would pave the way for the Kindy to receive all of it's approvals soon. After a week of Evangelism Explosion in the town of Odora, Africa, the new believers decided to begin meeting together in the afternoons with the goal to starting Sunday services in January. Pray for this fledgling church.

We know that it can take a lot of energy to attend a new church, so please note that: The Childrens Ministry begins part way through the service. This is for children between the ages of 3 13 years. Information on who we are, as well as on all of our ministries are available online at www.whac.net.nz Each week, we share a cuppa together after the service, and would love for you to stay for a chat.

The Community Christmas Celebration

Psalm 121 ..... I look up to the mountains does my help come from there? 2 My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! 3 He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. 4 Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. 5 The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade. 6 The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. 7 The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. 8 The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.

Ages 37 Ages 8 13 During school terms our Kids Club is divided into two groups, for age appropriate lessons. These take place in the hall during the sermon. Our children's ministry is now finished for the year, and will be resuming in February 2013.

Leading into this ministry year, the elders board at WHAC felt strongly that the Lord is calling us to address the Prayer and Fellowship as aspects of our ministry. Thankfully, He has already raised up a leader over Prayer, but we are still looking for a leader over Fellowship/Hospitality. If you love to make people feel welcome, and feel prompted to serve, please see Pastor Matt, or one of the elders today.
