HEBREW LESSON, P. 756 EPISTLE LESSON, P. 976 PSALTER
We sing the Psalm together. 1.

Micah 5: 2 - 5a Leah Grundset Davis Hebrews 10: 5 - 10 Jason Smith Psalm 80 O Shepherd, Hear and Lead Your Flock
ST. LOUIS

2.

3.

O Shepherd, hear and lead your flock, as lambs we crave your care; what strength on earth approaches yours, what mercies can compare? Restore, O God, your favor, the radiance of your face, to lighten and reveal the gift of your redeeming grace. Our selfish prayers deserve Gods wrath, our pride, a sudden burst; we have but stones to serve as bread, and tears to quell our thirst. Restore, O God Almighty, the radiance of your face, to lighten and reveal the gift of your redeeming grace. Gods lineage, like a vine, once spread and flourished in the land; but now the vineyard fails, the fruit lies withered in the sand. Restore, Lord God Almighty, the radiance of your face, to lighten and reveal the gift of your redeeming grace.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION

Da Amor / Share His Love

SULLIVAN

The love of God is broader than earths vast expanse Tis deeper and wider than the sea Love reaches out to all to bring abundant life For God so loved the world his only Son He gave. Share His love by telling what the Lord has done for you Share His love by sharing of your faith And show the world that Jesus Christ is real to you Every moment, every day.

But doing this means doing things a little differently. A little creatively. ADVENT ACTIVITY All of us have people in our lives who are hard to love. Think about someone in your life whom youve had a hard time loving, and find a way this week to extend the olive branch of peace as you accept the challenge to Love All. Staff: Micah 5:2-5a
Now you are walled around with a wall; siege is laid against us; with a rod they strike the ruler of Israel upon the cheek. 2But you, O Bethlehem of Ephrathah, who are one of the little clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to rule in Israel, whose origin is from of old, from ancient days. 3Therefore he shall give them up until the time when she who is in labor has brought forth; then the rest of his kindred shall return to the people of Israel. 4And he shall stand and feed his flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. And they shall live secure, for now he shall be great to the ends of the earth; 5and he shall be the one of peace. If the Assyrians come into our land and tread upon our soil, we will raise against them seven shepherds and eight installed as rulers.
