Nursery School - Leah Sokoloff Nursery School is exploring winter through art! In each class, the children are using several skills and materials to construct snow scenes and snow people. Sorting by size, which is an important math and visual skill, can be lots of fun when part of an art idea! Experimenting with ice and water, and observing freezing temperatures on the environment , is something each class is doing, all in an age appropriate way. Science and math combine in our classrooms on a daily basis, as we ask questions about the world we live in. Our Nursery School is committed to a creative and open ended environment , where children can explore in a hands- on way...every day!
