A LETTER FROM THE MACEDONIAN TO ALL THE INSTITUTIONS OF E.U. AND U.N.

AND TO ALL THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THOSE INSTITUTIONS ALL OVER THE WORLD I'm sending this letter ,this words of truth to You just in order to express my deepest pain and suffering because of your permanent breaking of our ethnic human rights as Macedonians,because of your permanent insults,humiliations and outrages directed to the Macedonians by your rude and persistent denial of our ethnic and national identity,by your chauvinism against one of the basic human rights the human right to be complete and integrated person with ethnic and national identity;because among the others that kind of psychological identity naturaly belongs to an individual born in one particular community a right of that individual to identify himself with the community to whom he belongs.I as Macedonian who is born and lives in my homeland Republic of Macedonia (also a homeland of all my ancestors deep in the history) am a living proof that we Macedonians are existing.And that should be sufficient reason for all the world including you and your representatives to accept that the Macedonians are not something virtual but existing truth on the ground of the Balkans for cenuries. Simply i can not understand and I can not bear any more your intentional blindness concerning the Macedonian national identity and your exaggerated concerns about "the emotions" of Greeks,totally forgetting your opposite behavior towards Us Macedonians,just because the Greeks are "very emotionaly hurt",because they want to be and Greeks and Macedonians as well,so because of those "poor"Greeks who are very hurt by the fact that We Macedonians are existing ,We should be so kind to wash our brains and to forget who we are.Do you now the expression in the medical sciense for such a kind of psychological condition AMNESIA. ARE YOU AWARE WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THE MACEDONIANS WHEN YOU ARE ASKING FROM THEM TO GO BY THEIR OWN WILL (GOD FORBID IT !) IN THAT KIND OF CONDITION???!!!ARE YOU AWARE OF THE GENOCIDE THAT YOU ARE CREATING WITH THIS RIDICULOUS DEMAND? ARE YOU SERIOUS ??!! THIS DEMAND IS A PURE FASCISM.A FASCIST IDEA OUT OF ALL THE POSSIBLE LIMMITS OF HEALTHY HUMAN MIND, AN IDEA WHICH EXCEEDS THE SICK IDEAS OF HITLER FOR AN ETHNIC CLEANSING.I EVEN SOMETIMES WISH EACH OF YOU TO FIND YOURSELF IN THAT VERY SICK POSITION NOT TO NOW WHO YOU ARE ,WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM,OR TO WHOM YOU BELONG ,TO SEE CLEARLY WHAT YOU ARE ASKING FROM US MACEDONIANS. I have been following this ironical parade of your Institutions and representatives in my country since you came here at the beginning of the '90s.And since then the only bright point of your presence here was the Badenter's recognition of Macedonia at the very first beginning before the disintegration of Yugoslavia,when he (like a president of your own commission for an evaluation of all former yugoslav republics whether they can be or not recognized like an independent states) recognized just Macedonia and Slovenia to be the only republics among the Yugoslavian which can be accepted as

independent and sovereign states . But very soon after this recognition,this ridiculous "question" "?" appeared out of nowhere and this ABSURD "issue" became the main ??!! problem for EU concerning Macedonia. In the meantime your institutions started to come here demanding from Macedonians to recognize (as if they have not alredy recognized ) all the possible and impossible human and ethnic rights to all the existing and not existing minorities in Macedonia,insulting Us the ethnic Macedonians at the same time,trying to wash our brains by naming us as "Slavs in FYROM","Slavic Macedonians","Slavomacedonians", "the Slavic ethnic group in FYROM","the major ethnic community of FYROM", "Your Country", "This Country " ,"your language ", the official language of FYROM" as if we were idiots who don't understand that by this behaviour of yours you are insolently and arrogantly breaking the basic human right of one of the oldest Nation in Europe.I was constantly hoping that very soon someone from your lands will come here and finaly will start to behave like a decent civilized human being,because i believed and i still believe that only a mutual respect is a base for the real civilized relationship between the human beings.That kind of respect for all the other human beings We Macedonians have plenty of.We respect everyone.It doesn't metter if the person wants to be Macedonian,Greek,Turk,Albanian,Vlach,Serb,Bulgarian,Croatian,Montenegria n,Bosnian,Roma,Egyptian etc. if he feels like that.This we have because of our way of raising the individuals here,something which probably has roots even in the ancient Macedonian aproach and atitude,to respect all the people and their integrity,not to insult them by humiliating their traditions or by denying that they are what they are.Alexander the Great is an obvious example for such a kind of human behaviour.He respected all the cultures of the world and he wanted to integrate them,to become one great culture using the best from all of them,especially using the ancient Greek culture and language which he incorporated in that new arisen culture of the ancient world and made that culture to become now a mutual cultural heritage of the World. Also the contemporar Macedonians have one other national hero from the end of the XIX th century and the beginning of the XXth Goce Delchev born in Kukush (Kilkis today in Greece) who has also such a kind of political aproach. He left like a heritage to the Macedonians and to all the Nations of the world one very thoughtful idea substantialy intelegent,cosmopolitan,and very contemporar : "I understand the world like a fild for a cultural competition between the Nations"So we should learn from those great persons who originate from Macedonia how to aproach to the world.So be convinced that we Macedonians have very civilized and peaceful behaviour and a respect for the rest of the world.If you don't believe me,come to Macedonia and you will assure yourself.BUT WHAT USE.STILL THOSE SAME INSTITUTIONS OF YOURS CONCERNED ABOUT ALL THE POSSIBLE ETHNIC AND NATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE NON-MACEDONIANS IN MACEDONIA,ARE RUDELY BREAKING OUR OWN HUMAN RIGHT OF NATIONAL IDENTITY YOU ARE BREAKING OUR HUMAN RIGNT TO BE MACEDONIANS IN OUR OWN COUNTRY MACEDONIA-WHAT AN ABSURD APROACH BY THE INSTITUTIONS WHO ARE PROMOTING THEMSELVES TO HAVE AND SUPPORT THE HIGHEST STANDARDS FOR THE HUMAN RIGHTS IN THE WORLD.THESE SAME INSTITUTINS OF EU DO NOT WANT US TO EXIST INSIDE E.U. LIKE

MACEDONIANS,THEY DO NOT WANT MACEDONIAN LANGUAGE TO BE MACEDONIAN AND MACEDONIAN CULTURE TO BE MACEDONIAN.I CAN BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE FASCISM AND CHAUVINISM OF OUR NEIGHBOURING STATES WHO OBVIOUSLY HAVE THEIR PSYCHOSIS CONCERNING THE MACEDONIAN "ISSUE" BECAUSE THEY HAVE A LOT IN COMMON WHEN MACEDONIA AND MACEDONIANS ARE TO BECOME THE QUESTION OF REGARD.THEY HAVE A LOT TO HIDE CONNECTED WITH THEIR NOT SO DISTANT GENOCIDE MADE OVER THE MACEDONIANS.SO THEY ARE BEHAVING THE SAME AS EVERY KILLER WOULD BEHAVE THEY WOULD LIKE TO KILL SOME MORE JUST IN ORDER TO HIDE THE TRAILS OF THEIR PREVIOUS CRIMES. : I'm sure that you know that not so long ago as a matter of fact ruther recently just less then 100 years ago Macedonia was divided between Bulgaria,Greece and Serbia.And those states "tried" to "resolve" the "Macedonian issue" "?" in their own way according to their manners of political behaving.FOR EXAMPLE THE GREEK STATE:JUST AFTER THE NATIONAL WAR WITH TURKEY,GREECE HAD TO ACCEPT INSIDE ITS TERITORIES OVER 1,5 MILION GREEKS FROM TURKEY(WHICH WAS ALSO A TRAGIC MOMENT FOR THE GREEKS TO BE PUSHED AWAY FROM THE LANDS WHERE THEY HAD LIVED FOR CENTURIES.)BUT WHAT HAPPENED THEN?!VERY CONVINIENT CIRCUMSTANCE WAS THE BREND NEW SITUATION ON THE BALKANS THE TURKISH EMPIRE WAS JUST PUSHED AWAY FROM THE BALKANS WITH THE HELP OF THE WESTERN EUROPIAN COUNTRIES AND GREECE HAD GAINED(HAD BEEN GIVEN LIKE A PRESENT BY EUROPE)THE LARGEST AND BEST PART OF THOSE FORMER TURKISH TERITORIES AND THAT WAS OF COURSE THE LARGEST PART OF MACEDONIA.WHAT A NICE PLACE FOR THE GREEKS WHO HED BEEN PUSHED AWAY FROM TURKEY TO SETTLE AND HAVE EVEN BETTER LANDS AND CONDITIONS FOR A LIVING THEN THEY HAD IN THEIR OWN NATIVE LANDS WHO REMAINED (AND STILL ARE)INSIDE THE BORDERS OF THE TURKISH STATE(THESE NATIVE GREEK TERITORIES WHICH ARE STILL IN TURKEY NOW, ARE CALLED, EVEN TODEY ,BY THE GREEKS IN GREECE "PALLJA ELADA " TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH THAT MEANS OLD GREECE). BUT LET US GO BACK TO THE"ISSUE"THE GREEK STATE HED THEN WITH THE NEW CONQUERED TERITORIES OF MACEDONIA. THERE HAD BEEN ONE "LITTLE"PROBLEM WITH THOSE NEW "GREEK" TERITORIES WHO HAD TO BE RESOLVED THE PROBLEM WAS THAT THOSE LANDS WERE ALREDY SETTLED BY SOME OTHER PEOPLE .BUT WHO WERE THOSE PEOPLE WHO WERE ALREDY LIVING THERE?! NATIVE MACEDONIANS OF COURS. WHAT A SURPRISE "!!!" NATIVE MACEDONIANS TO LIVE IN MACEDONIA!. BUT THAT ISSUE DIDN'T CONCERNED THE GREEK STATE TOO MUCH . GREECE HAD A SOLUTION (THIS REMINDS ME OF SOMETHING "?" OH YES !GREECE ( NOWADAYS - 85 YEARS AFTER ) HAS ANOTHER "SOLUTION" FOR MACEDONIA AGAIN( BUT NOW FOR THIS PART OF MACEDONIA WHO HED LUCK TO REMAIN MACEDONIA WITH MACEDONIANS INSIDE IT)BUT LET US SEE WHAT KIND OF" SOLUTION"GREECE HED THEN - VERY "SIMPLE"

"BRIGHT" AND "CLEVER" SOLUTION - TO PUSH AWAY THE TURKS WHO HED ALSO BEEN LIVING THERE SINCE THE TIMES WHEN THEY CONQUERED MACEDONIA (14TH CENTURY) AND OF COURSE TO PUSH AWAY THE NATIVE MACEDONIANS.!!! HOW "CLEVER" - THOSE DAYS SEEMS NOBADY CARED ABOUT THE HUMAN RIGHTS AND ETHNIC CLEANSING AND THE WORD GENOCIDE DID NOT EXIST ( BY THE WAY DO YOU RECOGNIZE THOSE WORDS OR MAYBE YOU HAVE AN AMNESIA WHEN THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE MACEDONIANS ARE THE QUESTION OF REGARD ? ) SO VERY GREAT NUMBER OF THE NATIVE MACEDONIANS HED TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF THEY WERE NOT WILLING TO "RENAME" THEMSELVES !!! ( DOES THIS REMIND YOU OF SOMETHING - RENAME !!! ) THOSE ONE WHO REMAINED THERE HED TO LITERARY RENAME THEIR PERSONAL

NAMES AND THE GREEK STATE BY THE FORCE OF LOW ARTIFICIALY CHANGED ALL THE MACEDONIAN NAMES OF THE TOWNS WHERE MACEDONIANS WERE LIVING ,VILAGES,RIVERS,MOUNTAINS.THE GREEK STATE ALSO HED DEVELOPED VERY "NICE" AND" HUMAN" MEASURES TO "CONVINCE" THE MACEDONIANS WHO DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE THEIR LANDS TO ACCEPT THAT IF THEY WANT TO STAY THERE, THEY WILL HAVE TO FORGET WHO THEY ARE.THOSE MEASURES WERE THE FOLLOWING : DROWNING THE CHILDREN OF THE MACEDONIAN MOTHERS IN QUICK-LIME,TEARING OUT THE UNBORN BABIES FROM THE BODIES OF THE MACEDONIAN WOMEN IN FRONT OF THEIR FAMILY AND THEN FORCING THE WHOLE FAMILY TO SWEAR OVER THE BIBLE THAT EACH OF THEM WILL NEVER SPEAK AGAIN WITH THAT LOATHSOME LANGUAGE OF THEIRS ( MACEDONIAN ) AND THAT THEY WILL ALWAYS USE ONLY THE GREEK LANGUAGE PURE AS THE THE RIVERS OF THEIR HOMELAND,ETC.,ETC.ALL THESE MEASURES WERE USED JUST BECAUSE THOSE PEOPLE WANTED TO PRESERVE THEIR NATIONAL IDENTITY AS MACEDONIANS.These people at the present times are still living (at least one part of them) in the greek part of Macedonia and the official greek policy call them Slavofoni,just to avoid the expression Macedonians.But actually those Slavofoni are the only native people of Macedonia native Macedonians who are natural result of the ethnogenetic processes and historical circumstances during the centuries here in Macedonia people who are speaking a language which belongs to the slavic group of languages,but by the culture and their traditions they were and still are (We are) the natural historical descendents of the Macedonian culture and teritory as well,at least this

was the case until the second decade of the 20th century when the greek state who occupied one part of Macedonia made one total ethnic change there and forced the native Macedonians to leave their native homelands.A lot of them settled then in Bulgaria,some of them went to America,Canada or Australia.After that the Greek state gave all the lands and the properties of those Macedonians to the Turkish Greeks(and not only turkish, but Greeks from all over the places where they had also lived for centuries Black Sea Coast,Georgia,Armenia etc.)And I sincerely feel deepest simpathy for them because I understand how they feel about this,how big injustice was done to them ,because the same thing happened to the Macedonians as well who had to give up from their own homeland and leave that area of Macedonia (which now belongs to the Greek state ),just in order these lands to be settled by the new commers the Greeks from Turkey and elsewhere.What is done is done now and nobody wants to turn back the historical events because that is something simply impossible.But the truth can not be anything else but Truth in front of the eyes of God,and the facts can not be changed even if you try to hide them with CRIME.SO I DON'T WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE NEW MACEDONIAN,OR SLAVIC MACEDONIAN BECAUSE I'M NEITHER NEW NEITHER SLAVIC.MY NATIONAL IDENTITY IS SIMPLY MACEDONIAN IDENTITY.( Even the common expressions used in the greek part of Macedonia today for denoting the communities there (ussually used by the common people there)are revealing this TRUTH about the native Macedonians: 1.Expression used by the native ("slavic") Macedonians for the Greeks who came from Turkey is "Madziri" means "New Commers". 2.Expression used by the Greeks who came from Turkey ( after 1923 just 85 years ago) for the native "Slavofoni" people (actually for the Macedonians) "EDOPI" means people from here native people(EDO adverb for place in the greek language "here") 3.The real Greeks now living in Macedonia call themselves "PROSFIGI" means REFUGEES (from Turkey) or one another group of new comen Greeks from the Coasts of the Black Sea are naming themselves "PONDI"(Pond is an ancient name for the Black sea, so logically the expression "Pondi" means "Black Sea People".I'm emphasizing that the last two expressions are used by the GREEK PEOPLE FOR THEMSELVES when they want ti define themselves or to distinguish themselves from the EDOPIANS(that means from the MACEDONIANS) . SO , I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS UNHUMAN, INSANE

PRESSURE OVER THE NATIVE MACEDONIANS BY THE NEW COMMERS WHO HAVE BEEN HERE IN MACEDONIA ONLY FOR 85 YEARS TO CHANGE MY NAME AND INSTEAD OF NATIVE TO BECOME "NEW?!!" MACEDONIAN BECAUSE I'M NOT NEW NEITHER MY ANCESTORS ARE NEW,THEY HAVE BEEN LIVING HERE FOR CVENTURIES.AND I WOULD SUGGEST IF THESE NEW GREEK PEOPLE IN MACEDONIA WANT TO DISTINGUISH FROM US NATIVE MACEDONIANS THEN THEY CAN ACCEPT THAT ADJECTIVE "NEW"LIKE THEIR OWN PERSONAL ADJECTIVE BECAUSE THEY ARE THE NEWEST ETHNIC ELEMENT ON THE BALKANS.

THE IRONY TO BECOME MORE ABSURD AND REDICULOUS,THE GREEK POLICY AND STATE AT PRESENT TIMES ,WITHOUT ANY SCRUPULE IS PROMOTING ALL THE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE NATIVE ("SLAVIC") MACEDONIANS (AND I'M NOT TALKING HERE ABOUT THE ARCHEOLOGICAL HERITAGE OF THE ANCIENT MACEDONIANS BUT I'M TALKING ABOUT THE FALK NATIONAL DANCES STILL DANCED BY THE CONTEMPORARY MACEDONIANS,I'M TALKING ABOUT THE NATIONAL COSTUMES,SONGS(WHICH ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE PERFORMED IN MACEDONIAN BUT THEY ARE OFFICIALLY TRANSLATED IN GREEK BY THE GREEK STATE ),I'M TALKING ABOUT THE HABITS ,CUSTOMES,WAY OF LIVING,ABOUT THE MACEDONIAN TOWNS STILL EXISTING THERE WITH THEIR TIPPICAL RECOGNIZIBLE ARCHITECTURE AND URBAN STRUCTURE(STILL VISIBLE IN THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA AS WELL)ALL THESE THINGS THE GREEK STATE AT THE PRESENT TIMES IS PROMOTING IN THE WORLD AND ESPECIALLY TO THE FOREIGN TOURISTS WHO ARE VISITING GREECE AND THE GREEK PART OF MACEDONIA LIKE A HERITAGE DIRECTLY CONNECTED WITH THE TRADITIONS OF ANCIENT MACEDONIANS BUT IRONICLY WITH ONE VERY IMPORTANT LACK THE GREEK STATE AND THEIR OFFICIALS WHEN

THEY ARE PROMOTING THOSE TRADITIONS IN THE TOURIST PURPOSES TO THE TOURISTS, THEY ARE "FORGETTING"TO EXPLAIN TO THE FOREIGNERS THAT THESE TRADITIONS ACTUALLY BELONG TO THOSE "SLAVOFONI"PEOPLE WHO ARE LIVING THERE AND WHO ARE THE REAL AND ONLY ETHNIC AND NATIVE MACEDONIANS.BUT WHAT AN IRONY FOR THE E.U. PRINCIPLES AND DECLARATIONS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS, THESE REAL NATIVE MACEDONIANS ARE STILL AFRAID (IN THE 21TH CENTURY IN E.U. ) TO SAY THAT THEY ARE NOT GREEKS BUT SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS AND WHY? BECAUSE THOSE OTHERS WILL DO EVERYTHING TO MAKE MISERABLE THE LIFES OF THOSE WHO WANT TO EXPRESS THEIR DISTINCTIONS.BELIEVE ME I'M ALSO FEELING TERROR AND FEAR TOWARD E.U. WHEN I SEE THAT THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOUR IS NOT JUST ALLOWED BUT SUPPORTED BY E.U. WITH YOUR PERMANENT CHAUVINISM TOWARDS THE MACEDONIAN IDENTITY.ALL THESE THINGS I'M SURE YOU ALREADY KNOW,EVEN MUCH BETTER THEN ME PROBABLY ,BUT I WANTED JUST TO CLARIFY TO YOU ,TO MAKE THINGS BRIGHTER FOR YOU TO SEE THAT THE MACEDONIANS ARE FULLY AWARE OF THE MAIN REASON FOR

THIS HISTERICAL ,FASCIST AND CHAUVINISTIC GREEK POLICY OVER THE MACEDONIANS.SO DON'T WASH OUR
BRAINS ANY MORE,OUR MIND AND CONSCIOUSNESS ARE VERY BRIGHT AND CLEAN AND WE CAN CLEARLY SEE THE OBVIOUS.UNFORTUNATELY THAT CLEARNESS IS SOMETHING THAT YOU STILL HAVEN'T PROVEN TO HAVE IN YOUR OWN MINDS.THAT I CAN CONCLUDE BY YOUR POLITICAL STEPS AND GAGS

WITH THIS NAME.MAYBE BY THIS WAY WE WILL BECOME ONE GREAT HAPPY FAMILY OF MACEDONIANS.EVEN MORE ,I INVITE ALL THE EUROPIANS TO RENAME THEMSELVES INTO MACEDONIANS BECAUSE THEY HAVE A PERFECT RIGHT TO DO THAT BECAUSE AT THE VERY BEGINNING "EVROPE" WAS JUST A NAME FOR AN ANCIENT TOWN IN MACEDONIA.OR MAYBE THE EUROPIANS SHOULD REALY CONSIDER THE POSSIBLE IDEA FOR THE RENAMING OF THE EUROPIAN UNION AND EVEN THE CONTINENT ITSELF BECAUSE BY USING THE NAME "EUROPE" THE EUROPIANS ARE PROBABLY STRONGLY HURTING THE FEELINGS OF "POOR EMOTIONAL GREEKS" BECAUSE ACCORDING TO THEM MACEDONIA IS GREECE AND NO ONE ELSE HAS THE RIGHT TO USE THE NAMES CONNECTED WITH MACEDONIA. AT THE END I'M ALSO INVITING ALL THE WORLD ,ALL THE NATIONS MEMBERS OF U.N. TO RENAME THEMSELVES AND WE THE MACEDONIANS ARE ALLOWING TO THEM TO USE THE NAME MACEDONIA.PERHAPS BY THIS WAY WE WILL FINALLY ALL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER WITH OUR COMMON NAME
