Save the date!! All ladies and men who have attended a Cornerstone Retreat or gathering sponsored by Cornerstone at Our Lady of Peace, are invited to attend a social gathering on Friday evening, January 18, 2013, at 7:30 PM in the Parish Hall at Our Lady of Peace. Appetizers and dessert, wine and soft drinks, will be provided. We will be seeking your input regarding the 2013 Cornerstone year. There is also a one-day Retreat planned for Men on Saturday, April 13th and another for Women on Saturday, April 27th. Details to follow. All the men and women of the parish are invited to attend.

Celebration of Mass at St. Teresa of Avila, Summit. Please park cars in the parking 7:00am: spaces to the right of the church and display your parking pass which will be given to you. 7:30am: Bus leaves from St. Teresa for the non-stop to Washington, DC. Time to Washington approx. 4.5 hours. Lavatory on board bus. Bring a Bag lunch to be eaten on bus. 12:00 Noon: Bus will arrive at/near 7th Street and The Mall for the Rally. 1:30 pm: March begins at the Mall up Constitution Ave. We will turn right at 3rd St. Continue to Independence Avenue turn left and proceed to the Rayburn Building, 2 blocks on the right. (The approximate time for the March and the walk to the Rayburn Building, 2168 Independence Ave is 30 minutes, about 1mile) Attend reception sponsored by Congressman Scott Garrett in the Gold Room 2:30 pm: Rayburn House Office Building. Meet other New Jersey March for Life participants and enjoy refreshments. (Reception is from 2pm to 4pm) 3:00 pm: Meet with Congressman Leonard Lance, Cannon House Office Bldg. rm. 426 to discuss the Catholic Church and the HHS Mandate. 4:30 pm: 5:45 pm: 10:30pm Bus will depart Botanical Gardens parking area to leave promptly for home. Stop at rest stop in Maryland for Dinner. Approximate arrival home to St. Teresa of Avila, Summit.
