No 18 GOD HAS MADE US HIS EFFECTIVE WITNESSES (Confess, believe and thank Him often that this is so,

now, in me, you, us.) Is 44:8 Do not fear, do not be afraid; have not I told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there a God beside Me? Indeed there is no other rock. I know not one. The Lord has given me the tongue of the learned that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. I have put My words in your mouth; I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, that I may plant the heavens, lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, You are My people. Arise and shine for your light has come! The glory of the Lord has risen upon you. Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men. Do not worry about how or what you shall speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you, Lk 12:12. Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men. If anyone is thirsty come to me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. (1. worship, 2. witness, 3. fellowship, 4. care of the poor, 5. discipleship.) You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me (in this place and everywhere). We cannot but speak the things we have seen and heard. Do not be afraid but speak, do not keep silent, for I am with you, and no-one will attack you to hurt you, for I have many people in this place. (city.) God has chosen you to know His will, and see the Just One, and hear the voice of His mouth. For you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. Arise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness of the things you have seen and the things I wilt show you. God has made us able ministers of the Gospel (new covenant), not of the letter but of the Spirit; the letter kills but the Spirit gives life. The love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus, that if One died for all, then all died. God has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. We plead with you on Christs behalf, be reconciled to God. The sharing of your faith becomes effective by telling others of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
