For the posts of PGTs, TGTs & PRTs only those candidates need to apply whose Medium of Instructions has been English at Graduate or Post Graduate Level in all the subjects except in languages Physical education, Drawing and Librarians. The number of posts can be increased or decreased.

For TGT posts only those candidates should apply who have passed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) of Punjab.

Age Limit: For teachers between 18 and 38 years as on 1st Jan. 2013. (01.01.2013). Age relaxation as per the rules of Punjab Government. Age Limit for Principals 35 to 45 years as on 1st Jan. 2013.
