Do you see more clearly how important Bible study is in your transformation? _________ 4. How did Jesus underscore the importance of knowing the word of God? John 17:17

Do you realize more fully now that your sanctification (progressive transformation) is very dependent on your studying and understanding the Gods Word? __________ Are you willing to make Bible Study and important part of your life? __________ 5. Why are the scriptures so powerful? 2 Timothy 3:16

The Greek word Paul used means literally God breathed. What does that mean to you? 6. What else have you noticed about the word of God? Hebrews 4:12 Isnt that powerful __________ 7. Do you see the importance of the Holy Spirits help in Bible Study? ________ Read 1 Corinthians 2:14 9. What indicates that active systematic study is very beneficial? Proverbs 2:1-5.

Notice the action words: seek, search, understand, find. Notice we are to seek as for silver for hidden treasure. The person who seeks treasure needs strong motivation, tools, and a chart of action. This means that a systematic study of the word, with proper tools is very important. People who ignore the content of a passage and the original intent of the writer will misinterpret the Word and be misguided. Are you willing to study the Word systematically and intelligently? _________ 10. What example did the Christian Bereans set for us? Acts 17:11
