Allow yourself to be happier more frequently. In the next 4 LOJ Feasts, well go through 4 powerful Happytudes based on the Beatitudes of Jesus: Be Open, Be Hopeful, Be Pure, and Be Peaceful. Apply these attitudes into your life and your life will never be the same again.

God is a happy God. When God sees you, Hes happy. You dont have to do anything for God to be happy. Just stand there and He loves you already. God will turn our sorrows into joy, our mourning into dancing, our night into day, our defeats into victory.

In other words, happiness doesnt depend on whats happening outside you. Happiness depends on whats happening inside you.

Happiness doesnt depend on your external situation, but on your internal disposition.

Happitude 1: Poor in Spirit (Be Open)

Happy are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. ~ Matthew 5:3 What does poor in spirit mean? Heres a common misconception: Being poor means someone who is far away from God. Someone who doesnt have a spiritual connection with God. Thats wrong. (How can that person be blessed?) Heres the best definition for poor in spirit: Someone who is desperate for God. Someone who knows that he needs God and sees Him as the source of all His blessings.

Your happiness doesnt depend on whether you get a pay increase or not. It doesnt depend on whether youll be able to lose 10 lbs or not. It doesnt depend on whether you have an iPhone 4 or an iPhone 5. It doesnt depend on whether you have a boyfriend or not. Your happiness depends on only one thing: Do you have a happy attitude? Or what we call now a happitude?

Your attitude, whether happy or unhappy, is based on your personal rules to happiness.
Each person has his own rules to happiness. We set them up. We choose them. We design them. We craft them. And we write them in our hearts. You have big dreams. But even before you reach your dreams, you should be happy already. In fact, if you wont be happy before you reach your dreams, youll never be happy after you reach them. Create simple rules for you to be happy! Set them up in such a way that its easy for you to be happy and difficult for you to be unhappy. Dont complicate your rules to happiness.

1. Mr. Proud

Mr. Proud was a boastful man. He acted as though he had everything. There is no shortage of Gods blessings. There is only a shortage of readiness to receive Gods blessings. Pride prevents blessings to come into your life. God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble. ~ James 4:6

2. Mr. Pitiful
Mr. Pitiful always felt sorry for himself. His mind was obsessed with the problems in his life. It was impossible to talk to him. He didnt like solutions. He just wanted someone to pity him.

Get rid of self-pity from your life. See the blessings that you already have and the blessings that are coming your way. Take on a grateful heart. And youll receive even more blessings!

Gods love is like rain that falls from the sky...

Some go out into the rain bringing a cup and get a cup full of rain. Some bring out a pitcher and get a pitcher full of rain. Some bring out a pail and get a pail full of rain. Some bring out a drum and get a drum full of rain. Some bring out a swimming pool and get a swimming pool of rain!

3. Mr. Prepared
Mr. Prepared was a man who liked looking up. His eyes were lifted up. His arms were open wide. He was ready to receive. Do you believe that Gods blessings are falling on you everyday? Do you wake up every morning believing theres abundance everywhere? If youre desperate for God, youre open to receive more! God doesnt play favorites. The Bible says that the sun shines on both the bad and the good and the rain falls on the righteous and the unrighteous(Matthew 5:45).

The container represents the opening of your heart to God.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. ~ Proverbs 3:5-6

And you too will receive the blessings of God like a downpour.

Be humble before God.

Feast Declaration of Abundance

Today, I receive all of Gods love for me. Today, I open myself to the unbounded, limitless, overflowing abundance of Gods universe. Today, I open myself to Gods blessings, healings, and miracles. Today, I open myself to Gods Word so I would become more like Jesus every day. Today, I proclaim that Im Gods Beloved. Im Gods Servant, Im Gods Powerful Champion, And because I am blessed, I am blessing the world, In Jesus Name, Amen.

Please include in your prayer the soul of Juliet Musni Bondoc who recently passed away in Pointe Claire, Quebec. She worked in Hongkong for 20 years and came to Canada 1 1/2 years ago as a caregiver. Her husband is working in the Middle East and she has 16 years old daughter in Manila... Father, we entrust to your loving care Juliets family. We ask of your mercy and grace that everything will fall into plac, and please guide Grace, Juliets niece that she may be able to accomplish all the paper works and a smooth travel going back to Manila. This we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
