JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT I, POL G. MEDINA, Filipino of legal age, married and with address at 1224 PugadBaboy St. San Andrews, Manila, after having been duly sworn in accordance with law, do hereby depose and state that: Question No. 1 (Q1): What is your current profession? Answer (A): I am currently a barangay tanod in our barangay. Q2: Where is your barangay? A: It is in PugadBaboy St. San Andrews, Manila Q3: How long have you been a barangay tanod? A: I have been a tanod for 2 years now. Q4: What are the principal duties of your profession?

A: My responsibility includes keeping the security of our barangay, traffic control, making arrests if there is a crime happening and there are no police to make the arrest. Q5: Where you the one who arrested the suspect BOB ONG? A: Yes, me and some of the tanods as well Q6: What day was this? A: Sunday, January 5, 2013 Q7: At what time did you make the arrest? A: It was 2:00 in the morning Q8: Are you sure? A: Yes Q9: How can you be sure? A: I looked at my wristwatch, and because I studied law and it taught me that whenever you make arrests, you should always be aware of every detail including the time. Q10: Can you tell us what occurred before you arrested the suspect? A: My fellow tanods and I were making the usual rounds in our barangay, when we got to PugadBaboy St. we saw someone jumping down from a wall. Q11: How high was the wall? A: It was about 8 feet. Q12: Is this wall part of a house? A: Yes Q13: Whose house? A: The house of my mother Pal Medina. Q14: Then what happened? A: I recognized the man that jumped down from the wall. Q15: Who was it? A: It was Bob Ong.

Q15: How can you be sure it was him? A: Because he was my childhood friend. We grew up together, and also because he lives in the same street as I do. Q17: Do you see each other every day? A: Yes, everyday. We usually play family computer together in my house whenever it is my lunch break. Q18: When was the last time you saw him before this incident occurred? A: Just the day before. Q19: What happened after you saw the suspect? A: I called out to him. Q20: What did you say? A: BOBBBBB!!!! Q21: What happened after you called out to him? A: He turned around and when he saw me he ran away. Q22: What did you do after that? A: My fellow tanod told me that Bob seems to be carrying something so they suddenly chased after him. Q23: Did they catch up to him? A: No. Q24: So how were you able to arrest him? A: We went to his hiding spot. Q25: How did you know of this hiding spot? A: Me and Bob are childhood friends and he always tells me of his fantasies of being a modern day Robin Hood and when he becomes one he will have a hiding spot, the tree house in his backyard. Q26: Have you ever been to this hiding spot before? A: Yes, as a child we used to sleep there during the summer. Q27: What happened next?

A: We woke up and his nanay would usually make us breakfast. Q28: No, I mean after you went to the tree house, his hiding spot. A: We saw him there holding a plastic bow and arrow and he was aiming at us. The once you see in the childrens toys section Q29: What did you do? A: I told my fellows tanods to hide or they might get hit. Q30: Then what happened? A: I reasoned with Bob and asked him why he did this. He told me that he is just doing this to fulfil his dream of being Robin Hood. Q31: What did he do? A: He stood his ground, he told me that what he did was for the good, because he stole from a rich man. I told him that he stole from the wrong house, that it was my mothers house. Q32: What did he do after that? A: He mustve realized what he did was wrong because he laid down his weapon and surrendered to us. He also returned the thing he stole. Q33: What was it? A: A box full of chocolate with gold coating. Q34: If I present that box of chocolate you, will you recognize it? A: Yes, because I put my name on the box. It is mine. Q34: Being a close friend of the suspect, do you know if there was anything strange to him the day you made the arrest. A: No, there wasnt anything strange at all. That is how he usually acts when he doesnt take his medicines. Q35: Is this the first time that you know of, where the suspect committed a crime while he was under this state? A: Yes.
