1. A Necessary Correction.
December 08’, I was watching the program “Prophecy in the News” [1] hosted by J.R. Church. On
that program, a statement was made regarding the stage set up for Barack Obama at the Democratic
National Convention, which was held back in August 08’ in Denver Colorado. It was stated that it
appeared that the stage was designed after the Pergamos Altar of Zeus which is now housed in the
Pergamon Museum located in Berlin, Germany. J.R. Church, as well, commented on the connection
between the Pergamos Altar of Zeus and the Throne of Satan as referred to in:

Revelation 2:12 “And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write,… 13 I know your works, and
where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is”.

Well, this quickly caught my attention because I had written up an article, in September 08’,
connecting the 2008 US Presidential Election and its key participants to the events and main characters
recorded in the “Book of Esther”.

If what was presented, on Church’s program, was true then I had “mistakenly” written, in my article,
that Barack Obama had chosen to present himself from the stage of a “Roman Pantheon” sort of
setting. Honestly, the distinction between Roman and Greek architecture made very little difference to
me; however, after doing some research on the subject, I began to discover that there was, quite
possibly, much more to this story than had been briefly presented on that particular TV program.
Nonetheless, I was very thankful to J.R. Church for making an issue of this “Altar of Zeus”!

2. Hidden for All to See?

The photos below clearly demonstrate the “resemblance” that would lead to observations that the DNC
stage for Barack Obama appears to have been artistically designed based upon the Altar of Zeus.

Below, I’ve pasted a relief image of ancient Pergamos and then a picture of the ancient Altar of Zeus in
its historical setting.

But why the Pergamos Altar of Zeus located in Berlin, Germany?

J.R. Church, in addition, had commented that perhaps Mr. Obama had visited the Pergamon Museum
while he was in Berlin making his “Campaign Speech on US Foreign Policy.” That remark led me to
find out more concerning that Speech in Berlin but specifically where it was delivered.

3. Angel of Light?
My search revealed that the speech Mr. Obama gave, while in Berlin, was delivered from the base of
the Tower of Victory (Siegessäule) on July 24th 2008, 5 weeks, to the day, before his Acceptance
Speech in Denver, CO, on Aug 28th. The goddess “Victoria” [7] stands atop this particular tower.

Just a few points on the goddess Victoria:

“The cult of Victoria [31] was one of the last pagan cults to succumb to Christianity”.
“In Roman mythology, Victoria [8] was the personification/goddess of victory. She was the most
beautiful goddess there ever was and people sacrificed the most beautiful young son each year for
her. Multiple temples were erected in her honour, and a vast cult existed for hundreds of years,
worshipping her. She was normally worshipped by triumphant generals returning from war.
She often appears driving the chariot of Zeus; an example of this is her place upon the
Brandenburg Gate [9] in Berlin, Germany.”

My initial impression upon seeing this beautiful, golden winged, female statue was; “It certainly looks
like an Angel of Light to me”.

So… he, Mr Obama, gave a Major Election Campaign Speech in Berlin, Germany on US Foreign
Policy at the base of a Victory Tower dedicated to the goddess Victoria…or in other words…a place
dedicated to idolatry.

It was after this speech that the German News Service “Spiegel Online” [32] offered this statement:

“Anyone who saw Barack Obama at Berlin's Siegessäule on Thursday could recognize that
this man will become the 44th president of the United States. He is more than ambitious --
he wants to lay claim to become the president of the world.”

We will again see this ambitious nature in another individual associated with the Altar of Zeus.

My next question was, “Where is the Pergamon Altar of Zeus, vis a vis, the location to this Tower of
Victoria”?

As can be seen from the image below, taken from Google Earth [36], the Tower of Victory, where Mr
Obama delivered his speech, is just a short distance from the Pergamon Museum which houses the
Altar of Zeus. The distance is just a little over 2 miles if one were to take the shortest road way. The
possibility that Mr Obama visited the Pergamon Museum was a plausible suggestion.

I then began to concentrate my focus on this “place of idolatry…Victoria (Siegessaule)” and noted
that from the image (below), that it was apparent that she is facing toward the west… by observing the
location and position of the wings of the golden statue. I thought to myself, well probably he gave his
speech with this goddess of Victory behind him as he was looking toward the USA. I quickly found
out that I was looking in the wrong direction.

No! As a matter of fact, as marked out above, and seen below, his platform is located behind the
goddess Victoria and Mr. Obama is facing in an eastwardly direction…noting moreover that the statue
of Victoria has her back to the viewing audience.

It is equally clear from the photo (above) that his platform is obviously not located in a position
looking down the main thoroughfare toward the Brandenburg Gate but rather it seems that the
platform is facing into the trees… (being careful to consider that this could be the “Standard
Operational Procedure” for conducting staged performances from the Tower of Victory as per the
Berlin Municipal Rules and Security Department.)

So, if he isn’t facing the main audience…Who is his main audience?

From the photos that I found on the internet, they all seem to pinpoint Mr. Obama’s platform as
somehow being strangely positioned on a line in the direction of the Altar of Zeus and though not
likely on the straight line, it’s not very far off.

Thus, I began wondering, in a somewhat dark and sinister way, if it could have been that the platform
was “strategically situated” so that Mr. Obama’s address would be directly delivered to none other
than the Altar of Zeus from the base of a Tower dedicated to the goddess Victoria?

I found that the answer to that question was reportedly, “No”. Quoting “The Moderate Voice” [14];
“Actually, Obama wanted to speak in front of the Brandenburg Gate. That hasn’t worked out.”

4. The Throne of Satan!

To this point and in a rather tedious manner, I will admit, I have been searching to see if the Campaign
Stop in Berlin was connected to the stage setup of a mock Altar of Zeus at the Democratic National
Convention in Denver, Colorado. Later on, I found that it would be this same little method of research
that would enable me to develop another line of thought that, perhaps, would reveal a much more
ambitious destination laying in wait for Mr. Obama.

But before I take the next step I would like to insert a few historical points regarding this “Altar of
Zeus” so as to gain an adequate appreciation for the symbolism represented by this Altar and thus
presented by Mr. Obama to the American people and the world for that matter.

From one internet essay entitled “The Altar of Zeus in Pergamon” [15] I found the following helpful
passages:

“The Greek art historian Gisela Richter considers it “the most famous altar of
Hellenistic times” (Handbook 32).” (Page 2) [16]

“The Altar of Zeus had a similar purpose to the other altars of its time.
According to cultural history, an altar usually serves as a place of entrance to a temple
of gods. As Richter states, “The altar in an “open precinct” preceded the temple as a
place of worship and later remained an essential adjunct of the temple, being placed
either inside it, or more commonly outside, facing the entrance.” (Handbook 32) (Page
3-4) [16]

“Due in part to the monumental Altar of Zeus, the legacy of this city is still
remembered, recounted, and discussed in artistic history as a paragon of Hellenistic
buildings.” (Page 14) [17]

“The great Altar of Zeus has been mentioned even in Revelation of Saint John the
Divine as “Satan’s Throne” and is often referred to as a marvel of the ancient world”
(Page 15) [18]

Then from an magazine article entitled “The Great Altar of Zeus” by J.R. Church, a reference was
given to an Internet blog by an individual who goes by the name of El Gallo, who wrote an item
entitled “So is it Solana or Obama?” [19]

Gallo wrote:
“Pergamum was famous for its Temple to Zeus. Christian scholars of Greek mythology
believe Zeus is an “analogue”, or another name, for Satan. This temple was the foremost
temple to Zeus in the former Greek empire, and built by the local king, Eumenes II.
Eumenes was a mentor to none other than Antiochus IV Epiphanes; yes, the very Seleucid
king who committed the first Abomination of Desolation by erecting a statue of Zeus in the
Temple and slaying a pig on the altar in honor of . . . Zeus.

Antiochus was the son of the Seleucid king defeated by the Romans as their empire spread
to the Mideast. He was a Parthian (Iranian), and ambitious. After his father’s defeat, being
an opportunist, Antiochus went to Rome, seeking permission to take his father's throne. The
area he wanted to rule included Jerusalem. Yet the Roman Senate did not trust him, and
said no.

But Antiochus was not so easily deterred, and went to Pergamum to bide his time. There he
met Eumenes, who was building his soon-to-be famous Temple to Zeus. Eumenes became
Antiochus’ sponsor, as Antiochus built his influence and power, until the Roman Senate
relented and made him Seleucid king of the Syrian area. While in Pergamum Antiochus no

doubt worshipped often at the Zeus temple. He was known for his zealous evangelism for
Zeus worship, and who knows what spiritual infestation occurred there?

He was not only a worshiper of the Zeus cult, but a brutal man, who so enraged the Jews,
that they rebelled. He defeated them temporarily, and during that time, committed the
AOD.

Fast forward about 2000 years. The German archeologists are in Pergamum. They approach
the Muslim Ottoman rulers with a proposal to buy this old pagan temple to Zeus, and move
it to Berlin. As we know, Muslims are not fans of any culture but Islam, and quickly
assented. Thus the German spirited (sorry) the entire temple to Berlin, where they built a
massive museum in the 1880’s, restored the Temple and rebuilt it right in the museum. It
became quite famous and an icon of Greek architecture, recognized by educated people
around the world.

Fast forward again about 50 years. A young Austrian art aficionado named Adolph Hitler
must have been especially enamored of it. Or at least his first propaganda minister (when
Hitler gained power), Albert Speer, was. Because he and Hitler determined to put on the
most grandiose political theater in history, and the Temple played a central role. What
followed were the infamous Nuremburg speeches, which were immortalized in the
propaganda film “Triumph of the Will.”

Hitler gave a series of mesmerizing speeches to the assembled masses. It was a coming out
party of a sort, where the world realized this was no ordinary politician. He seemed imbued
with an almost hypnotic ability to say nothing in particular, but in a way which enraptured
the youth. And he did it while speaking from a replica of Berlin’s most famous ancient
museum piece: The Temple of Pergamum, aka The Temple of Zeus, aka The Throne of
Satan.

Fast forward about another 75 years. Another fascinating and charismatic young politician,
who mesmerizes huge German crowds with rousing speeches, is in Berlin. His name is
Barack Hussein Obama. Obama does something no American Presidential candidate has
ever done, which is give major foreign policy speeches abroad. His largest, most
triumphant speech is in Berlin where adoring youthful crowds, representing much of
Europe, listen raptly as he says, well, nothing. But he does it so well.”

So did BHO visit the Museum of the Temple of Pergamos in Berlin while he was there?
Presumably he did. As his hosts showed off their city, surly they must have taken him to
their famous museum. Did he see it? If so, did he receive any spiritual signals, or any
power, or any anointing from the Throne of Satan, like perhaps Hitler and Antiochus before
him? We do not know.

As photos of its construction were spread around the Internet, a Christian author and
blogger named Joel Richardson [20] gained some instant notoriety across the Internet by
demonstrating that this building was a dead ringer for the Temple at Pergamos. The BHO
people made some weak excuses that it represented the U.S. capitol and White House West

 Wing combined. But expert scholars agreed with Richardson; it was a replica of the Temple
of Pergamos.

So, curiously, Obama chose to deliver his rousing political coming-out speech to the
assembled, mostly youthful, masses from a replica of the Throne of Satan, just like Hitler
had done many decades ago. Of course the oblivious U.S. media had no idea, and wrote
Richardson off as a nut, as their hero – a man certain people across the United States were
openly calling a messiah – hurtled toward his date with destiny.”

5. Birthed on Tisha B’Av?

One other little piece of information that I found while searching around on the internet was an article,
written by Chava Willig Levy on her blog, entitled “Full Disclosure” [23] and dated Oct. 30, 08’.

She wrote: “It certainly looks as if God is guiding Mr. Obama straight to the White House.
But if God is guiding his history, and ours, aren’t we mere spectators forced to watch passively
— some might say helplessly — as it unfolds? Several of my coreligionists think so,
fatalistically pointing to the fact that the secular date of Obama’s breakthrough keynote
address at the 2004 Democratic National Convention — July 27 — coincided with Tisha
B’Av [3], a fast day commemorating the many seismic tragedies that have befallen the Jewish
people.” (Both of the Jewish Temples were destroyed on this day…Tisha’ B’Av).
She also wrote:
1. “In 2000, Obama was a virtual unknown. He had to scrape together the airfare to attend
that year’s Democratic National Convention, to which he had not been invited.”
2. “But in 2004, not yet a United States senator, he was the Democratic National Convention’s
keynote speaker, an honor usually reserved for political icons; he became an overnight
sensation.” “Even Obama acknowledges his “spooky good fortune”.” [24]
So, I found this to be a rather curious chronology:
2000 DNC: A Virtual Unknown;
2004 DNC: Keynote address on Tisha’ B’Av;
2008 DNC: Acceptance Speech from The infamous Altar of Zeus;
2012 ? ? ?: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _?

6. The Tabernacle of Moses over the USA?

A few years ago, I received a video produced by Perry Stone [25]. On that video, he was speaking, in a
prophetic sense, concerning America and how the Tabernacle of Moses could be laid out over the
United States. The information he presented was taken from a book he had authored entitled
“Plucking the Eagle's Wings”, America’s Amazing Hebraic Patterns and Prophetic Destiny.

The points I will make, setting the articles contained in the Tabernacle over the USA, are not direct
quotes from Perry Stone but are based upon his teaching regarding this subject. The understanding I
gleaned from his teaching helped to give me a foundational insight into what I believe, may have,
occurred, in a prophetic sense, in Denver, CO pertaining to The Altar of Zeus on August 28, 2008.

 Below, I’ve provided visuals “based” on that teaching.

The first item that one encounters upon entering the door of the Tabernacle of Moses is the:

1. Brazen Altar: The Place of Sacrifice. The Brazen Altar, laid over the Eastern most
portion of the USA, is the area of the nation where the Revolutionary and Civil Wars were
fought. The Great Smokey Mountains National Park is also located in this area.
a) Both involve: Blood and Sacrifice.

 2. Brazen Laver: The Vessel containing Water. The Brazen Laver over the Mid-Central
portion of the USA is the area of the Mississippi River. A Waterway System which runs
from the north to the south of the nation.
a) Both involve Water.

3. Table of Show Bread: A Table displaying Daily Bread. The Table of Show Bread over the
North Central portion of the USA is the Area of the nation known as the “Bread Basket”
where a major industry is the cultivation of Grain Crops.
a) Both involve Grain/Bread.

4. The Menorah: The 7 stemmed candelabra fueled by oil. The Menorah over the South
Central portion of the USA is the area of the nation known for its “Oil” and Gas Production
and Industries.
a) Both involve Oil.

5. The Altar of Incense: An Altar set apart for the burning of Incense…The last Place of
Worship before entering into the HOLY of HOLIES. The Altar of Incense over the
Central USA, in the area just east of the Rocky Mountains, is an area known for its many
Indian tribes and the related items used in their Religious Ceremonies including Incense [35].
a) Both involve incense used for religious purposes…i.e. Worship.
b) Denver Colorado is located in a prophetic sense at the Altar of Incense.

6. The Veil: The Heavy Veil of Separation between the HOLY PLACE and the HOLY of
HOLIES. The Veil over the West portion of the USA is the area of the Continental
Divide, a mountain chain which divides this section of the nation from north to south.
a) Both involve a Barrier of Separation extending from north to south.

7. The Ark of the Covenant: The Ark rested in The MOST HOLY PLACE and
was completely covered in gold. The Ark of the Covenant over the area beyond the
Continental Divide and going to the West Coast is the area known in 1800’s for the “Gold
Rush”. Nevada [33] currently, as of 2007, produces 82% of all the gold mined in the
United States.
a) Both involve Gold.

As I recall, Perry Stone also stated that the United States of America was the only nation in the world
where this specific pattern could be identified.

7. “The Stage is Set”

Denver Colorado: 2nd only to Albuquerque, NM, in having the highest elevation [34] of the 50 most
densely populated cities in the US, in other words…a High Place. In the Bible, a high place, quite
often, signifies a place of idolatrous worship, in addition, High Place(s) [37], in Hebrew (‫)במה‬, is
transliterated to English as “Bamah” and is pronounced with the very same phonetics as “Obama”.

The DNC announced, on January 11, 07’ [28], that the location for their Convention would be in
Denver, CO, a decision which voted out New York City. That announcement came 20 months before

the Convention. Clearly a date which would toss out any question that there was some sort of
premeditated planning that would include such spiritual symbols involving: High Places, an Altar of
Incense, or an Altar of Zeus.

Invesco Field: On July 07, 08’ [26], it was announced that Mr. Obama had chosen the “Invesco Field”
to be the location of the Dem. Nat’l Convention. The first choice of location for the Convention was
the Pepsi Center [27] which is also located in Denver but it was not an “open air” venue and had much
less seating capacity. Referring back to this note from page 7: “The altar in an “open precinct”
preceded the temple as a place of worship”…

Hence, there at the “Mile-High” [45] city Mr. Obama chose, for his stage, a replica of;
1. The Altar of Zeus, with it’s undeniably Anti-Semitic history and idolatrous worship of Zeus, as the
platform whereupon he accepted his Party’s nomination for the Office of The President of the US and
that the stage was in the region of America, which is uniquely located, prophetically speaking;
2. At the Altar of Incense, The last Place of Worship before the High Priest entered into The MOST
HOLY PLACE.

8. Destined to Sit on The Throne?

Having just a bit more curiosity, I asked myself this question, “I wonder which way the stage was
facing on this occasion, at Invesco Field…North, South, East or West”?

Already being familiar with Google Earth, I quickly found “Invesco Field” in Denver, CO.

In the photos, below, the point of reference which I will use is the Denver Bronco Logo, (The Emblem
of the Head of a Bronco…that is to say a “White Horse”). It can be seen in both photos as being
located at the “North” end of the stadium or at the top of each photo, thus an obvious and identifiable
landmark as to the position of the Stage being prepared for Barack Hussein Obama to accept the
Democratic Nomination for President of the US.

Therefore, it can be easily deduced that the stage is on the east side of the stadium facing the west.
North North

A curious fact that the Denver Bronco Mascot, since September 93’ [5], is a White Purebred Arabian
Stallion named “Thunder”. Then this FOX news report dated Tuesday, February 10, 2009,
unexpectedly popped up:
MYTHIC BIRTHPLACE [43] OF ZEUS POSSIBLY FOUND
The Greek god of thunder and lightning had Earthly beginnings, and scientists think they finally know where.

These can be taken as either “comically coincidental” or “ominously alarming” given all of the other
points already mentioned.

Revelation 6:1 … and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come
and see.” 2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was
given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.

9. Headed in “Which” Direction?

As I had already begun my series of questions based on places and directions, I found that my first
“guesses” had been consistently wrong.

Where I had supposed that Mr. Obama would have been facing the United States, when giving his
speech in Berlin, I found that his platform was, quite oddly, facing toward the Altar of Zeus. Then at
his acceptance speech in Denver, where I had thought he would have been facing east toward the
White House, he was in fact facing west…prophetically speaking…toward the Ark of the Covenant.

Quite frankly, during the course of this “prophetic research”, I have accused myself of being a bit of a
Conspiracy Theorist. However, I have noted that all the references, that I’ve found, would indicate
that there has been no obvious clue that there was any pre-meditated planning by Mr. Obama or the
Democratic Party or anyone else for that matter to include any of the things which I have suggested.

Nevertheless, given that Mr. Obama has moved along his path at such an incredibly accelerated speed,
and since his path quite portentously includes places of idolatry of the greatest notoriety, the last
being the Altar of Zeus or “Satan’s throne” which was especially designed and constructed for him

and that he has also demonstrated a masterful, even a mesmerizing, ability to present himself from
these places of worship.

In view of that, it behooves me to, at the very least, foresee that he could, possibly, be involved with
the building of a Temple…in the near future…that Temple of course being located in Jerusalem.
There is none greater…it is without an equal!
Irenaeus, one of the early church fathers and a disciple of Polycarp writes; … “in the time of Antichrist
is it shown that he, being an apostate and a robber, is anxious to be adored as God; and that, although
a mere slave, he wishes himself to be proclaimed as a king.” Against Heresies (Book V, Chpt. 25) [39]

Then Hippolytus, the disciple of Irenaeus, writes concerning the Antichrist, “…and he will raise a
temple of stone in Jerusalem”. “On Christ and Antichrist #6” [13].

10. The 13th of Nisan

It was the mistake, I had made in an earlier article that I had written, of identifying Mr. Obama’s mock
stage of the Altar of Zeus as a Roman Pantheon which led me to search out this item at hand.

Thus said, in that article, “The “Esther” to Sarah Palin Connection” [49], I had cast Mr. Obama in the
role of “Haman”…Haman, as well, being notoriously Anti-Semitic.

There is a very specific date given in the “Book of Esther” and similar to Tisha B’Av it, too, is a tragic
day for the Jews; at least it was during the times of Mordecai and Esther.

Esther 3:8-15
8 Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus, “There is a certain people scattered and dispersed among the
people in all the provinces of your kingdom; their laws are different from all other people’s, and they
do not keep the king’s laws…
9 If it pleases the king, let a decree be written that they be destroyed…
12 Then the king’s scribes were called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and a decree was
written according to all that Haman commanded—to every people in their language.

The 13th of the first month (Nisan), on the Jewish calendar, falls, this year-2009-on the Gregorian
calendar date of April 08. It is the day before Passover. Haman had the king’s scribes write a death
decree over the Jewish People…on the day before Passover.

Recently, an article caught my attention entitled, Identifying The Evil at the End of Days [47]-By,
Jewish Researchers, Joel Gallis and Dr. Robert Wolf who, by working with Torah Codes:
“asserted with utter certainty [11] in May 2007, long before Barack Hussein Obama had won
his first primary and when it appeared that Hillary Clinton was a sure thing, that he would
be the next president of the United States.”
…“He is indeed the evil that will befall us at the end of days, the evil that Moses spoke to
our ancestors about.”
…“The scholars, using the clues of the book of Daniel, say that Obama will rein as "King"
for three and a half years. In their May broadcast, they ascribe special significance to the
date of April 08, 2009, the day before the festival of Passover (Pesach), when the once-in-

 28-years “Blessing of the Sun” [44] is to be recited. They believe that between now and that
date there will be dramatic developments that involve Iran”

Personally, I know absolutely nothing about how to read “Torah Codes” nor do I understand the
prophetic significance of “Blessing the Sun”, however; I do know that the 13th of Nisan is the specific
date, in the Book of “Esther”, that Haman revealed his truly evil nature.

It is curious that these dates should converge at this precise time in history. Could another very
significant (prophecy fulfilling) document or covenant be signed or secretly agreed upon on the 13th of
Nisan (April 08, 2009)…? Time will tell.

11. …”become like Sodom…”? Isaiah 1:9

Christian news reporters were very quick to alert their subscribers and readers to the fact that the
Obama Administration had set forth, on the 1st day in the White House, the most radical homosexual
agenda that this country has ever seen. The Christian reporters directed those who were interested to
look and see what had been posted on the Official White House web page under “Civil Rights” [40].
Over 60% of the Civil Rights Agenda, under the Obama administration, has been given to the attention
of the “LGBT” Community (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender). In other words, Civil Rights
is now synonymous for a Homosexual Agenda.

Briefly, this is the very disturbing symbolism that I began to see coming from this blatant “Civil
Rights” agenda:

In II Samuel 24 and I Chronicles 21, it is recorded that King David took a census of Israel. In both
scripture texts it states that David was “moved” [48] (‫סות‬-cuwth) “to number Israel”.

II Sam 24:1 Again the anger of the LORD was aroused against Israel, and He moved David against
them to say, “Go, number Israel and Judah.”
I Chron 21:1 Now Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel.

Having that in mind, I was quickly grabbed by this News Item from NewsMax [46] posted Sunday,
February 8, 2009:
“White House Nabs Political Control over Census”
“The Obama administration is ending the Census Bureau's traditional autonomy – a
move that has Republicans outraged over the White House's politicization of counting
Americans.”
“Last week, an administration official revealed that the yet-to-be-named director of the
Census Bureau will report to the White House rather than Commerce Secretary
nominee Judd Gregg, a Republican.”

And then from “Politico” [41] posted 02-13-09:

“Senator Judd Gregg abruptly withdrew his nomination as commerce secretary
Thursday, telling Politico that he “couldn’t be Judd Gregg” and serve in Barack
Obama’s Cabinet.”
…“it has become apparent during this process that this will not work for me, as I have
found that on issues such as the stimulus package and the census, there are irresolvable
conflicts [42] for me,” Gregg said.”

I then remembered from the story of David’s census that there was Joab who also had an irresolvable
conflict over that census and as written; it was “abominable”:
I Chronicles 21:3 And Joab answered… Why then does my lord require this thing? Why should he be
a cause of guilt in Israel?”
6 But he did not count Levi and Benjamin among them, for the king’s word was abominable to Joab.

Keeping to the subject of this article, it is also interesting to observe that it was this census which
caused the angel of the LORD to command Gad, David’s Seer, to say to David:
…go and erect an altar to the LORD on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. I Chr 21:18

And then we find this most astounding sequential event written in:
II Chr 3:1 Now Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah,
where the LORD had appeared to his father David, at the place that David had prepared on the
threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Noting once again, “The altar in an “open precinct” preceded the temple as a place of worship…

Last year, October 08’, I enjoyed the most wonderful blessing of being in Jerusalem during the Feast
of Tabernacles. While there, with a group of Christian Zionists, I took the opportunity to go up with
them to Mount Moriah on the last day of the Feast. It was the first time for me to go up to the
“Mountain of the LORD” since 1986.

It was a short time after having been at that place…“where the LORD had appeared to…David”…that
I began having this thought:
1. David, a righteous King, prepared the way for Solomon, who became an apostate,
to build the first Temple
2. There was a righteous remnant, who returned to Jerusalem from their captivity in
Babylon, who prepared and built the second Temple for Herod, an apostate, to
aggrandize and beautify it.
3. There are now a righteous people who are crying out to the LORD GOD of
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that the Temple of the LORD would be built in their day.
Could it be “The Apostate” who will be the one to build it?

2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the
falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts
himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God,
showing himself that he is God.
