Finished measurements 48/ 120 cm in length by 8 / 20 cm width for long version. (24 / 60 cm in length by 8 / 20 cm width for short version) Yarn Rowan Kid Classic 2-2.5 (1-1.5) skeins. Shown in 855 Smudge (10 ply, 70% Wool, 26% Mohair, 4% Nylon, 50g / 153 yards per skein) Puppy Multico 4 (2) skeins. Shown in col. 563 (10 ply Mohair, Wool, 40g / 88 yards per skein) Needles 5.0 mm 36 / 90 cm (24 / 45 cm ) circular needle. Change needle size if necessary to obtain gauge. Notions Stitch marker for beginning of round. Tapestry needle for weaving in end. Gauge 17sts = 4 / 10cm in pattern stitch

Pattern stitch Cupido Round 1: *knit 3, slip 1 as if purl with yarn in back* repeat across round. Round 2: *purl 3, slip 1 as if purl with yarn in back* repeat across round. Round 3-4: Repeat round 1 and 2. Round 5: *knit 1, slip 1 as if purl with yarn in back, knit 2* repeat across round. Round 6: *purl 1, slip 1 as if purl with yarn in back, purl 2* repeat across round. Round 7-8: Repeat round 5 and 6. Directions With cable cast on, make 200 (100) stitches. Being careful not to twist stitches, place marker and join for working in the round. Knit 1 round then Purl 1 round. Repeat the 8 rounds of pattern stitch Cupido above until work measures approximately 8, ending with 4th or 8th of pattern stitch. Make sure that you have enough yarn left for the following: knit 1 round, Purl 1 round and bind- of loosely. Finishing Weave in ends. Steam press gently over a damp cloth.
