Impacts to Other Rail Lines


Blue Line Impacts: Rosslyn station tunnel at maximum capacity Transition to Silver Line - Rush Plus 2012
Trains every 14-minute on Blue Line during rush hour

When Silver Line opens: trains every 12 minutes vs. 14 Orange Line Impacts: Due to expected rider shift to Silver Line, fewer rush hour trains between Vienna and West Falls Church Silver line to Largo eliminates need for the Rush Plus service between Vienna and Largo.
