Few restaurants combine all the elements of taste, preparation, quality & quantity with a large array of outstanding Four Star Dishes & a richly decorated comfortable atmosphere. This is a place I recommend to restaurateurs who want to impress others, corporate leaders that are interested in closing an important deal, or those who want to go the extra mile to enchant their significant other for a birthday, anniversary or special Sweetheart Dinner. The critics discovered an outstanding team, of General Manager Sergio Rojas & Chef Giacomo Polibio, who translate their vast experiences into glamour, excitement, true tableside service & much more. This team pulsates with the rhythm & energy of The writer Gail Gerson decided that Sergio & Chef Giacomo are Kings of A Four Star Steakhouse. Dinner is like a well run symphony. Manhattan with spectacular attention to detail. This talented duo, are all about living well, about good conversation at the table with family & friends & creating new food memories. Located opposite the Passaic County Courthouse & alongside the Center City Mall at the intersection of Hamilton & Ward Streets, they took my restaurant researchers on a dazzling culinary adventure as they were coddled by the attentive staff. The handsome & very private International Wine Cellar with 600 wine selections a stonefloored private dining room & impressive cathedral-like curved wood doors is spectacular . The Garden State Journalists Organization is meeting there, once again on February 15th & it is a sellout, as our last meeting here, was amazing.
SEXY DISHES
Bone-In Filet 18oz Porterhouse for 2 (48 oz) with the famous Signature Cut The Flintstone 32 oz Surf & Turf Kobe Beef Sliders Maryland Crab Cakes
First Award of Excellence to a NJ steakhouse by the International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association.
The steaks are spectacular but thats because Chef Giacomo has them spend weeks in the aging room, before they're butchered & grilled. The Record reported, Our prime-graded steaks bore thin, flavorful chars, the deep pink of proper medium-rare doneness and the funky minerality that only comes with proper dry-aging, the process that chases away excess moisture and intensifies the meat's flavor. Reporter and music virtuoso Mitchell Zeidwig, recommends the Shoe String Papaya Salad with Carrots & the Bone-in Filet Mignon. The tastes were powerful. Carolyn DelaFrange, of the International Food Wine and Travel Assoc., wrote, The mouth-watering Maryland Crab cakes with a marvelous Lobster Sauce & the Flintstone, a Rib Steak with quite an extralong bone are awe-inspiring & large enough for lunch with your family the next day. Collette Finck of the Restaurant Research Society, thought the New York Strip was a sensible choice . She wrote, The portion isnt overwhelming and hasnt any waste but do try the 3 differently delicious Kobe Beef Sliders to start-amazing. Billy Taylor, former NFL Giant, wrote, My favorite is Oysters Hamilton to start & the 48 oz Porterhouse for Two. This is the best buy, as it can feed two or three & is outstanding Prime, dry-aged meat and in other steak house the price was 25% higher. Here, the vegetables are fresh, the mashed potatoes are flavorful and the service is very well done. Len Trugman of ABC wrote, The Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass in an alluring Miso Glaze is a good choice, but have the Ward Famous Salad & a fresh Colossal Crabmeat Cocktail. The Raw Bar selections are very tempting. For Laura Sliwak, of The Restaurant Research Society, the Steak Wellington, with a Mushroom Duxere & encased in puff pastry was her pick. From a wonderful Ceasar Salad, to homemade Mozzarella, to a delectable Sesame Encrusted Tuna, with fabulous Asian Slaw, to service that is fit for royalty, this is the perfect steakhouse.
