Zion National Park Biological Science Technician, May, 2008-August,2008 Collected scientific data to assess ecosystem impact of fire on federal lands. Participated in fire suppression activities. Followed Incident Command System guidelines for emergency operations. Proven success working under stressful and dangerous conditions. Identified plant species using a dichotomous key. SWCA, Inc GIS Technician, June,2007-November,2007 Created maps using ArcGIS to support research at a private environmental consulting firm. Created maps that exceeded supervisors and clients expectations in a timely manner. Collected GIS data in situ using professional grade Trimble GPS units.
