The following 9 screens are part of a case study exercise created for a humanitarian relief organisation. The case study focuses on the conict in a ctional country called Bogna.

Although not real, the scenario is similar to the kind of real world events many learners working for this organisation routinely deal with. In this respect it meets the meaningful, memorable and motivating criteria we apply to our work.

Within the context of the Bogna crisis, this screen sets a simple, but realistic challenge for learners. The activity requires them to use their existing skills and knowledge to reect on the possible consequences of the Internal Affairs Ministers statement.
