The three concentric rings of Jacobs Wheel are reflections of the three highest sefiroth: Kether (outer ring), Hockmah (middle ring), and Binah (inner ring). Their influence is felt as elemental Air, Water, and Earth (a, m, and t). The key mandala at the centre of the wheel reflects the sephirah Daath and the hidden elemental Fire ().

The seven spokes correspond with the seven lower sefiroth: Hesed, Geburah, Tifareth, Netzah, Hod, Yesod, and Malkuth. Each of the seven is a triad of elements: Earth, Water, and Air reflecting the Physical, Astral, and Mental planes. The Fire element is hidden and dormant until the seven vessels have been consecrated and purified.
