As the second biggest trades in the world and the third-biggest economy, Chinese logistic market is
becoming the focus of international enterprises and the hotspot of investment. Some internationalization
enterprises will speed up the purchase of domestic enterprises and the perfection of network distribution
in China. Chinese domestic logistic networks are gradually becoming one part of international supply
chains.

Meanwhile, with the advancement of global resource distributions and the advantage decline in Chinese
labor costs, Chinese logistic enterprises will shift their targets to the developing countries. Chinese
logistic market under international competition will speed up the resource integration and the
internationalization will be further improved.

Description
By the end of February 2009, Chinese government approved the Adjustment and Revitalization
Plans of Modern Logistic Industry and emphasized the up-speed of modern logistic development
and the establishment of modern logistic service systems, promoting other industries`
development by logistic services. Chinese government listed the Adjustment and Revitalization
Plans of Modern Logistic Industry in the ten revitalization plans almost unexpectedly, however it
was comprehensive. The major reasons were as followed:

(1)logistic industry is a fundamental industry providing services for other industries, the crucial
part for the improvement of the whole economic operation efficiency.

(2)At present, Chinese logistic industry develops at a low level and an enormous gap remains
between Chinese and the developed countries regardless of hardware facilities or software
management. For example, the logistic expense in China accounts for only about 18% in GDP,
America less than 10%. About 12% of logistic expenses are used to the management, less than 5%
in America.

(3)The international financial crisis seriously stroke Chinese logistic industry. In the former half
of 2008, because of the rising costs of fuel and labor and the influences of economic depression in
the latter half, the whole environments of Chinese logistic industry were deteriorate. Many
enterprises were closed with massive unemployment.

The government policies mainly focused on the long term development of Chinese Logistic
Industry. From the part of present revealed contents, the approved logistic plans mainly focused on
the long term development of Chinese Logistic Industry, such as speeding up the mergers and
acquisitions and increasing investment in logistic infrastructure etc.

The author investigated into Chinese logistic industry, especially the influences of international
financial crisis on Chinese logistic industry, and then wrote the report.

development in recent years, making people see the advantages of local enterprises in international
logistic market.

In February of 2009, Chinese government approved the Adjustment and Revitalization Plans of
Modern Logistic Industry, greatly promoting Chinese Logistic Industry. Under the circumstances
of international financial crisis, Chinese government will take the measure of tax cut to support
Chinese Logistic Industry. It is predicted that the mergers and acquisitions and the infrastructure
construction in Chinese logistic market will be speeded up. The international and domestic
enterprises will strengthen the distribution in Chinese logistic industry.
