Whereas the Highways Authority, Government of Goa, in
excricse of the powers conferred on it by Section 50 of the
Goa, Daman arid Diu Highways Act, 1974 is satisfied that
the 'Akhada Bridge' situated in Akhado Island of St. Estevam
village, Tiswadi Taluka is unsafe for vehicular or pedestrian
traffic by reason of corrosion of steel and deterioration.
It is hereby notified that the said Bridge stands closed to
all traffic, including pedestrian, forthwith,

Wherein certai'n changes were proposed in the Regional
Plan for Goa were published in the following Official Gazette,
Series III, No. 47, dated 18th February, 1999.
Inviting. comments in writing from the public under
Section 13 of Goa Town and Country Planning Act, 1974
(Act 21 of 1979) (thereinafter referred to as the said Act).
Whereas no comments were received from the public and
the matter was referred, to the Goa Town and Country Planning
Board for consideration and thereafter Govermllent approval
in pursuance of Section 14 of said Act was obtained for the
said changes.
Now, therefore in exercise of the power conferred under
Section 15 of the said Act, I, Shri R. N. Ray, Chief Town
Planner hereby notify the said changes in the Regional Plan
for Goa as approved by the Government and further indicate
that the copies of the same may be inspected in the Office
of Town and Country Planning Department, Old G.M.C.
