Installation instructions for Citroen Service Box Backup & Citroen SEDRE

1. Disable your wireless adapter!!! (If you have...). 2. Enable your LAN Ethernet adapter (if it is, OK). 3. Install and then run SMAC 1.2. 4. Where it says the MAC address of yours LAN adapters XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX you should CHANGE AND WRITE 00-50-56-C0-00-08 in the field "New Spoofed MAC Address". 5. Press "Update" and then "Exit". 6. Now REBOOT your machine!!! 7. Install Alcohol 52% Free Edition 1.9.8 Build 7530 and finish setup. 8. Start Alcohol 52% and in main menu: View, Options and in Emulation Settings check AND THE 3 BOXES!!! 9. In Extra Emulation settings check box "BAD Sectors Emulation". 10. Go to Virtual Drive, Number of Virtual Drive, 1 and click down "OK". 11. Click Windows basic Start button, Programs, Alcohol 52%, and run "A.C.I.D. Wizard" and in the resulting window check ALL boxes (although should), and click the button "Cloak". 12. Minimize the "A.C.I.D. Wizard" program window. 13. Return in Alcohol 52% main window, MOUNT image "Citroen Service Box 8.2008 DVD-1". 14. Finally start the setup from mount DVD Disc (IF the setup did not start automatically...). 15. Choose ENGLISH and then click "OK".

16. In the next window its appear click "Next".

17. In the next window its appear check "No" and then click "Next".

19. In the next window its appear check AND TWO BOXES (IF its not) and then click "Next".

20. In the next window its appear click "Next".

21. In the next window its appear check "I accept the terms of this licence" and then click "Next".

22. In the next window its appear check "Standalone Installation" and then click "Next".

23. In the next window its appear check "Complete Installation" and in the "Choose the installation path:" write "C:\Citroen" and then click "Install".

24. In this point the installation has begin to write some files in your hard disc... Wait for few minutes...

25. When THIS PART OF INSTALLATION compete, in the next window its appear click "Finish"

and the same of the other open window (if you can not see it on your desktop, you find it, in the taskbar...)

NOW, just finished the FIRST part of installation! You have installed the Citroen SEDRE Backup & New Diagrams for some NEW Cars of Citroen brand.

26. Now, BEFORE click "OK" in the new small window thats appearing, you must go on Alcohol 52% and MOUNT the next image, "Citroen Service Box 8.2008 DVD-2". Now click "OK".

27. In the next window its appear check "Standalone Installation" and then click "Next".

28. In the next window its appear check "Complete Installation" (DONT PANIC with "300 minutes", the REAL TIME its about one hour and half with Intel Core 2 Duo processor and Sata hard disc) and in the "Choose the installation path:" write "C:\Program Files\DocBackupAC" (although should) and then click "Install".

29. In this point the installation has begin to write ALL the files in your hard disc...

30. At the duration in this part of installation in its time, the installation has asked to insert the 3rd DVD...

You must go on Alcohol 52% (as in the step 26) and MOUNT the next image, "Citroen Service Box 8.2008 DVD-3" and then click "OK". The installation its continuing...

31. FINALLY, after a very long time, the MAIN installation has finished. Click "Finish".

Now it is NECESSARY to replace an original file in a folder C:\Citroen\Resources\infos with the "cracked" infos file. Before run the program open IE and disconnect "to block emerging windows" and also establish FULL access on Java (Services, properties of the Observer, safety, other). Now create absolutely empty new folder in Program Files "Program Files\DocBackupAP\Resources". From folder C:\Citroen\Resources\ copy the file "infos" in C:\Program Files\DocBackupAP\Resources, that created earlier. Run PSA Date Validator Ver. 1.0.exe (it is necessary java not below 6 versions, JRE 6) which this file corrects. Press 1 year some times as you like. It makes return actions. Close the PSA Date Validator Ver. 1.0. MOST IMPORTANT!!! before you run the program for the first time, make a BACKUP copy the entire folder in Program Files "DocBackupJRE". Maybe you need it, if the program does not open in some cases and you need to rewrite it...

FINALLY you are ready to run the program from two shortcuts in your desktop, one for Citroen spare parts & technical information (Citroen Documentation Backup) and the other for SEDRE & New Diagrams for some NEW Cars (Citroen SEDRE)...

ALWAYS!!! you run & work the program with your LAN Ethernet adapter ENABLE!!! and NEVER remove "Spoofed MAC Address" from SMAC program either!!!

Now you can check your "Expiration Date" on the taskbar at right in the running program icon with right click in section About. If the program does not started (Writes Explanation: The Web server refused the connection, for example in the domain organisation of a network) enter in IE command line: http://localhost:6091/docbackup
