4. CLOSURE: We will review the answers from the Unit 6 Review and Test Prep (TE 328-330). We will also go over any questions from Unit 6. F. Assessment: What will you use to measure student understanding? I will use the various centers activities and whole-class review to measure the students understanding. Explain how you will know students understand the concepts from the lesson. The answers on the worksheets and during the whole-class review will allow me to know my students know how to identify sources of information about Americas government. G. Reflection: 1. Which part of the lesson do you think will be the easiest for you to teach? The whole-class review will be the easiest to teach. It will allow me to keep students on task and make sure they understand the concepts needed to succeed on the test. 2. Which part will be most challenging for you to teach? The flag activity on p. R2-R3 will be the most difficult to teach. Students may have a lot of trouble reading these pages and may need a lot of assistance from the teacher. 3. How will you follow up or extend this lesson? If needed, we can extend the lesson by reviewing all of the worksheets as a class to ensure the students understand the concepts they will be tested on. 4. What will you do for students who dont grasp the concepts? During centers I will provide extra assistance to those that need it. 5. Which part of the lesson, if any, do you think might need to change? I do not believe I need to change any part of this lesson. 6. When you were writing this lesson plan, what was the most difficult part? 7. The most difficult part of the lesson plan was coming up with all of the materials. It was especially difficult trying to make sure the materials covered everything that will be on the Unit 6 Test.
