EXPLANATIONS I used this theory in order to control the class.

Usually, year 2 pupils cannot focus for a long time especially when I explaining something to them. They usually enjoy the hands-on activity. But, when I want to explaining something to them, I have to gain their attention first. Besides, if I want to proceed to the next step or activity, I have to calm them down, give them time to relax and also to ensure they keep quiet before I explain the next activity. Usually, I ask them to stand up or change their position. For example, if they sit, they have to stand up, if they stand, they have to sit. Then, I ask them to make any movement before I ask them to follow my instructions. For example, I ask them to put both hands up, put your right hand up and so on. I ask them to make free movement first because I want slowly get them into my rule. If they can follow my simple instructions, means that they are aware and focus on my words. So, by that time I will give the explanations about the next activity. This theory is affective as I can see many benefit from it. First, I can give them time to relax before proceed to the next activity. By doing this, I can refresh their mind and energy to be active again. Second, I can gain attention from them and ease my teaching. I think it is useless for us to finish up all the plan but they get nothing because too much pressure on them. Next, they enjoy the Wait A Minute session because it is like playing game which they have to listen and follow my instructions.

EXPLANATIONS I find out that it is quite hard to divide them into group. If I ask them to be in group, they will choose their own friend. So, they will not listening and follow my instructions when they are with their close friend. Sometimes, they are arguing in the group because I simply put them in any group, so it makes them feel unfair because others can choose their own group. It is also for mingle them up with their friends. In my class, there are three pupils who are Siamese, so I do not want they just sit and talk among them. By doing this, they must be agree to my decision and be in their respective group. I also want to ensure that all level of student can be in one group. Usually, when they want to create a group, they will choose the best among them because they want to be the winner. But, by doing this they cannot choose and have to accept that. Then, I decide to divide group according to their fate. I ask each of them to count 1 until 5, and then the next pupils will repeat and count the same numbers which are 1 until 5. After that, I ask them to be in the same number, and they will be in one group. It is easy to have this because they cannot complain as they have count it by themselves.

EVALUATION I think that this pedagogical innovation work with my pupils. As I used this innovation, all the pupils seem understand and know their group members by doing this. They are satisfied with their group when they count by themselves. Besides, they can know each other as they will be in group which is not their next friend.
