About the Conference

Physics and Technology of thin films play an important role to achieve smaller devices with higher speed especially in new generation of integrated circuits, sensors, flat panel displays, Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS), biomedical devices, optical instruments and microwave communications. The thin film based nano-scale systems pave way for next generation solutions in many challenging applications. The low material costs, high performance and versatility of the thin film based devices is the motivation factor for research in this area. Thus, study of thin film properties produced from new materials and exploiting their unique properties for developing micro and nano-scale devices for future applications is at the heart of research in this field. This international conference on thin film and applications ICTFA - 2013 will bring together researchers, academicians and technologists on a common platform to exchange ideas on the latest developments in various areas of thin film technology around the globe.
