The standard choker length for women's necklaces is 16 inches. Take your own measurements whenever possible. (The necklace looks nicer if you have an even number of triangles!) Ch 8. Row 1: *Sl st in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc, 3 dc, 2 dtr over the ch. Ch 8; rep from *. Continue to desired length. Sl st along side to tip of first triangle. Do not turn. Row 2: Ch 6, sl st to next tip. Rep to the last triangle. Turn. If you have an even number of triangles: Row 3: Sl st into 6-ch loop; ch 4 (counts as 1 dc and 1 ch), [dc in loop, ch 1] 8 times, *sc in next loop, ch 1; [dc in next loop, ch 1] 9 times; rep from * to end. Turn. If you have an odd number of triangles: Row 3: Sl st to center of loop, ch 1, [dc in next loop, ch 1] 9 times, *sc in next loop, ch 1, [dc in next loop, ch 1] 9 time; rep from * ending with sc in last loop, ch 1, dc in sl st at tip of triangle, ch, dc in same st. Turn. Row 4: (Picot round) Ch 1, [sl st in first ch sp, ch 3] rep to last ch sp, ending with sc. Fasten off. Now, work the top row of dc and picots: With right side facing, attach thread to corner of first triangle.

Photo 4: With black thread, the gold cup beads and gold flat sequins are sewn into place along the scallops.
