ENERGY INTENSITY AND ECONOMIC ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Energy Intensity is a measure of the energy efficiency of a nation's economy. It is calculated as units of energy per unit of GDP. High energy intensity indicates a high price or cost of converting energy into GDP and vice-versa. Economic Energy Efficiency is the economic units of GDP produced by the consumption of units of energy.
