Dec 3, 2005 Keeping Judgment Kathleen Maples

Psa 106:3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all
times.

Looking at this definition carefully will help bring this verse of Scripture very
personally home to you. It will bless you, I know.

H4941
Judgment (from Ps 106:3)

From H8199; properly a verdict (favorable or unfavorable) pronounced judicially, especially a

sentence or formal decree (human or (particularly) divine law, individual or collectively),
including the act, the place, the suit, the crime, and the penalty; abstractly justice, including a
particular right, or privilege (statutory or customary), or even a style: - + adversary, ceremony,
charge, X crime, custom, desert, determination, discretion, disposing, due, fashion, form, to be
judged, judgment, just (-ice, -ly), (manner of) law (-ful), manner, measure, (due) order,
ordinance, right, sentence, usest, X worthy, + wrong.

Blessed are they that keep judgment! Blessed are they that won't let the devil rob them
of who they are and what has been decreed, by the Almighty God, theirs, as joint heirs
with Jesus Christ. Blessed are they that reject deceit, partiality, injustice,
unrighteousness and evil. That are willing to step out of their comfort zone and call sin
what it is. The Lord has rendered the verdict that all those who believe and call on his
name, will be saved. Those who do not believe will be condemned to hell, because their
unbelief will cause them to live and die in their sins. He has pronounced judicially a
sentence of eternal life to all those who are cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ, who
are forgiven of their sins, and appropriate that forgiveness and that blood every time
the devil accuses. Or conscience. He has pronounced judicially eternity in hell with the
devil and his angels to those who reject the love and truth of the Lord.
It is divine law that is forever settled in Heaven and can't be changed that if we walk
after the Spirit and not the flesh we will rule and reign with him forever, serving him
in joy and gladness all through eternity. It is the right and privilege of every saint of
God who is living by faith, submitted totally to the Father, and governed by His Word,
whose eyes and heart are set on things above, not things on this earth, to have
authority and power over all power of the enemy, to cast down strongholds in the
mind, to loose our loved ones from the bondage of sin, through believing prayer and
fasting, and appropriating the power of the Name of Jesus, his shed blood, and the
Word of the Living God.

By his promises we are able to partake of his Divine nature, and be seated with Christ
in heavenly places. It was at the discretion of God, who judged sin, and sent his Son to
pay the penalty for the crimes of mankind. This satisfied the demand for justice of the
Father. Sin was judged at Calvary, on a cross, and let us ever keep judgment, the
judgment the Lord made in our hearts and before our eyes. For if we do that, we will
do righteousness. We will seek righteousness. We will recognize and be ever aware of
the judgment declared on sin, and shun it. Let us keep the judgment of the Lord and be
blessed.
