Starting a 2D Sketch
In this chapter all drawings
will start from the Part
Environment. Most of the
commands and construction
techniques are the same in
other environments.
For an introduction to 2D
sketches, we will use the option
to create a sketch. This option
allows the designer to create an
overall master outline showing
major features of the part. When
the actual part creation takes
place, elements from the master
sketch will be copied to the part
outline sketch.
