Immersion Heater for Closed Drain Vessel

NOTES 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Refer to document no.GEN-A-TS-M-SP-0003, Specification for Electric Heaters for additional informaton. Heater element shall be of withdrawable type. Terminals for all heater elements shall be provided. Separate junction boxes (externally mounted) shall be provided for different type of signals Other temperature control for process requirement in the vessel heating shall be provided by OTHER and not included this Immersion Heater scope of supply. A minimum of 10% spare heater elements shall be provided. For heater over temperature protection, RTD (DIN PT 100) type temperature sensor shall be used.Temperature element wiring shall be connected to skid mounted "SMART" type ( HART) temperature transmitters with 4-20mA output signals to interface to purchaser's 'Safety Shutdown System' Transmitters shall be IS type EEx "i", certified for Zone 1 ,Gas Group IIA/IIB, T3 in accordance with ATEX Directive. Spare temperature sensor shall be provided & shall be wired to skid mounted JB (EEx "e" type). 8 9 Main terminal box shall be provided with ON/OFF indication lamp. Refer to document no.HSD-A-TS-M-DS-0011,Vendor to confirm the heater mounting flange size.

10 Refer to document no.HSD-A-TS-M-DS-0011, Data Sheet for Closed Drain Vessel. Immersion Heater length to be specified in Vendor's quotation 11 Bolting and gaskets required for the heater assembly to vessel to be provided by the heater vendor. For material of bolting and gasket, Refer to Closed Drain Vessel datasheet 12 Immersion Heater shall be self supporting without additional support inside the vessel. Vendor shall advise Purchaser if this is not possible. 13 VTA = Vendor To Advise, VTC = Vendor To Confirm, TBA = To Be Advise.
